Our guesthouse is a one bedroom, one bath get away with room to breathe! Sleeps 8, with a newly added loft including 2 full sized beds, a pull out bed in the sectional of the spacious living room and a king sized bed in the bright and sunny private master bedroom. Internet is unreliable, encouraging you to put down your phone and simply relax. TV with DVD player available-no cable. AC and forced air heat. Grill and fire pit available! We look forward to your visit! Guests will have full access to the 900+ sq ft guesthouse and will share the outdoor areas with us. The area behind the guesthouse includes a covered porch area and privacy. We strive to leave this space all to you during the stay. Feel free to explore other areas in the yard, too! We do not have a guest hot tub at this time, but feel free to enjoy our propane fire pit out back (except during times of high fire danger or high winds), hammocks (when up) and peaceful sitting areas. We welcome you to stroll around the yard, or visit the dogs and chickens, and enjoy the fresh air! We will be your neighbors during your stay, so we are right there if you need us, but we will also provide space and privacy so you can enjoy your stay your way. Our guesthouse is located just 1 mile south of Custer, SD. Close to Custer State Park, Crazy Horse and many other Black Hills attractions. Catch beautiful views of the Needles, Calamity Peak, Custer Mountain and the surrounding area as you leave the property on the way to your Black Hills adventures! Private parking on the south side of our guesthouse between the garage and guesthouse. We do not recommend parking in front of the guesthouse as we do have 4 drivers in our household, plus family and friends who come to visit. There is room for a trailer if you are bringing your ATVs or other toys. We do have three very friendly family dogs on the property. Please be sure to let us know if you have any concerns or special requests as we want you to feel safe and comfortable during your stay. Please note that due to steel insulation, WiFi and cellular service do not work well. Please be prepared to use outdoors. Service is spotty in the Hills. Our guesthouse has comfy couches and recliners to accommodate extra guests. Extra bedding will be provided for your comfort and to protect the furniture. Be sure to account for all guests at the time of booking so that we can have everything ready for your group.
