Very safe and quiet neighborhood. Large yard with a creek, garden and room to explore. You have a private bath and bedroom on the 2nd floor with a shared kitchen and deck space on the 1st floor. See fox, deer, and birds on the property. We 're also close to Cokesbury, University of Delaware, Kennett Square and Longwood Gardens. Only 15 minutes from Wilmington and 45 from Philly. If you want to feel at home and relaxed, while still being close to sights and amenities, come visit us! This space is meant to be a sanctuary for you when you are away from home. Your private bedroom room is spacious. There is a king-sized bed in the room with both a mattress topper and quilt that can promote a great night's sleep. The bathroom is private. Both the shower and kitchen drinking water are filtered and there is a diffuser in the bedroom that you may use if you are drawn to the benefits of essential oils. My goal is to provide a warm, welcoming and relaxing environment for you while you are here. Although the bedroom and bath are private, the kitchen, front and back porch areas are shared with me and my husband, if you chose to use them. When you come to visit please park in the driveway behind the boat so you are off the street. You can enter the house though the front door. We love to meet our guests and get them settled but after that you can determine if you wish to socialize or not. The neighborhood is quiet with very nice people. A good place to walk if you want to stay close to the house. We are just around the corner from Cokesbury Village, a very nice retirement community. Del Castle Park is a nice, safe and well lit local park with a couple of mile walking/jogging path and tennis courts about 2.5 miles from the house. There are numerous hiking and bike riding paths in the local state and county park areas very close to our location. Please, no packages shipped to my address. However, I will help you figure out how to get anything you need sent to the USPS for pick up. The post office is just 3 miles away. Thank you.
