The main living and kitchen space has a split AC/heat which is very comfortable for all seasons. The two bedrooms have separate heat with window fans for summer cooking with mountain night time temps in the 60’s. Just two miles south of Custer overlooking a beautiful valley and a view of Black Elk Peak and the Needles. Guests have full private access the cabin sitting on top of a 2.5 acre hill also open to guest to frolic in! The cabin is located on a 2.5 acre hill and has a direct view of the Needles rock formation and Black Elk Peak (Harney Peak). Most mornings across the valley from the cabin a large number of deer can be spotted. It is common to have deer right outside the door! The cabin is is the heart of the Blacks Hills for you and your guest to have easy access to Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse and everything else you could possibly want to visit. Custer is a small town but does have a private transit Prairie Hills Transit Pickup has to be scheduled fares starting at $2. There is Lyft and Uber in the area. Cellphone reception is good!
