Private Master Suite - Welsh Stewart House by MU
Quiet, park-like residential setting within walking distance to MU. Historic 5000 SF home in great condition includes 3 guest suites with private full baths, on site parking available for seven vehicles. Private suite with en-suite renovated bath with a stunning marble shower. Kitchen on a cart includes microwave, Keurig coffeemaker, and mini fridge. Coffee and tea provided. Large bedroom with separate breakfast area. Architectural detail & stately elegance throughout this circa 1896 Queen Anne Victorian on a one acre lot just west of Uptown Oxford. The romantic master suite has premium bedding on the king sleigh bed, a breakfast sitting area with microwave, fridge, & coffeemaker, & a fabulous renovated master shower featuring carrara marble, a rainhead shower, and luxury throughout. A true escape yet within walking distance to all MU and Oxford have to offer! We live on-site in a separate suite in the back of the home. We are here if you need us but we do not hover so you'll probably not see us! We take "cleaning" as serious business. Everything is cleaned and sanitized and the linens/towels are professionally laundered off-site which is part of the cleaning fee. Your safety is our concern! The house is considered the gateway to the residential area to the west. Families are always walking by on their way to uptown Oxford or just taking a stroll. It's a very friendly open atmosphere where everyone is welcome. The apartment complex to the east rents mainly to families - this is not a student rental area. Kroger's (with a Starbucks) is a couple blocks away down Lynn Ave. Fast food restaurants such as Taco Bell, Arby's, Pizza Hut, LaRosa's are very close by on Lynn Ave. Our favorite Uptown restaurants are Left Field Tavern and Paesano's. Patterson's Cafe at Stewart Square on Spring St. is the best place to get brunch. Bus stop within 100 ft.
