Our home is a short stroll (or drive, (less than a mile) to Chester’s village green- a stretch of quaint antique shops, art galleries, bookstore, quilt shop, The Southern Pie Company, yoga studio, coffee shop, many restaurants and cozy taverns. Lots of local handcrafted beer on tap and artisan cheeses too! For a quintessential Vermont experience, Chester provides a picturesque and cozy atmosphere! We are located in rural Vermont so a vehicle is a must! We take pride in using plant-based, non-toxic cleaning + laundry supplies. We encourage recycling and are continuing to make our home as eco-friendly as possible. We certainly love all of our furry friends but due to guest allergies they are not allowed on property so that everyone who visits can enjoy their stay! You will find that cell phone service is sporadic in this southern region of Vermont-the Carriage House has a landline phone and free long distance service. (US & Canada) In Summer months-we have a window unit AC-we do not have central air. During winter months- please be aware our plow guy will come and it may be helpful to move your car temporarily so he can plow driveway.
