My top recommendation is to use Uber or Lyft for getting around the city if you do not have access to a vehicle. For the most part, Ubers/Lyfts in Fort Worth tend to be affordable. If you'd like to go to/from Dallas or DFW airport you can also take advantage of the TRE train system which is very affordable.
