A great basecamp to explore Rapid City and the Black Hills! The old motor lodge re-invented. We recently took two hotel rooms and combined into one nice kitchenette suite. All new bathrooms, kitchens, doors, windows, lock system and furniture. Still has the old radiators and wall mounted AC units that we just couldn`t find a way around, but they work great! The Sojourn Vacation Rentals and Flats offers modern, fully furnished flats in Rapid City, SD. Rooms include a kitchen with a full refrigerator, microwave, cooktop and dishwasher. They also include a living space and private bedroom. There is a patio available for guest’s relaxation and enjoyment. The Sojourn is conveniently located for travelers looking to visit Mt. Rushmore, the Black Hills, Crazy Horse, Custer State Park, Sturgis, and more. This property is nonsmoking and no pets. There is a grill on the patio available to all guests, and a secure coin laundry area. Owners are in the office most day and happy to help with ideas and suggestions to get the most out of your time in Rapid City. Plenty of restaurants to choose from, close to groceries. Downtown and Main Street Square is about 1.5 miles away, Skyline Wilderness trail head is 1 mile, West Blvd Historic District is .5 miles away, as is the hospital. If you don`t have your own transportation, I would suggest renting a convertible/motorcycle to explore the area! Or Lift. We are a pretty rural part of the world, public transportation isn`t great. There are tour companies to get you to the monuments. We use the KeyCafe automated check in system so you can arrive anytime after 3pm.  The booking code and instructions will be sent via txt and email on the day of arrival.  Of course, we are happy to assist!  If we aren't on the property when you arrive we are near by. check in animation
