Within the Blue Ridge Mountains sits our family farm. The guest house is on our 54 acre farm that offers woodland views. Our 1800-square ft. 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home, boasts accommodations for up to 8 lucky guests. Walk the property & enjoy our animals, trails & mountains. We can accommodate your pups! Bedroom 1-Full Bed (upper level of house) Bedroom 2-Two twins and a full bed. Bunk Beds have a full bed on lower bunk and twin bed on upper bunk. Upper bunk has a weight restriction of 150lbs or less. (Upper level of house) Bedroom 3- Queen Bed (lower level of house) with master bathroom. *THERE ARE STAIRS IN HOUSE *TV located in lower level of house. Rental is a full 2nd guest house on our farm. Owners live in the main homestead on property. Distance in between homes allows for complete privacy. Guests rent whole house, this is not a shared space. The home has 2 sitting areas with plenty of windows to allow you to enjoy the green scenery. When it's time to eat, make your way into the fully equipped kitchen to begin meal preparations. Throw a steak on the complimentary charcoal or gas grill and snack on appetizers at the island bar while overlooking a fenced in yard for your family. Set the dining table for and enjoy dinner with a view! The highlight of the home is the farmlife scene and woodlands views. Families and friends can walk the property and enjoy observing our Scottish Highlands and Mini Donkeys. And if your interested, even have the opportunity to meet and treat a few of them up close and personal! Guests can enjoy our back trails or relax on the property by a warm campfire. Other things to note- -Gravel Driveway -laundry room is locked and only available for emergency’s, special events (weddings) and long term guests. -2 dog maximum allowed with fees. $50 per pet fee. Guest must let owner know at booking, if pet is being brought. Two kennels and dog bowls provided. - Amenities include a fully equipped kitchen, free WiFi , flat-screen TV with DVD player, covered patio with outdoor furniture, designated camp fire area and more! Guests are welcome to walk the farm trail and observe animals on farm. We live on property and offer complete privacy to our guests. We are available if you have questions, need assistance or would like to encounter some of our animals, up close and personal! 25 min drive to Lynchburg/ Liberty University. 15 minutes to Bedford or Forest. Guests must understand that restrictions may apply during dry burn ban season. -Guests must bring their own charcoal for the grill. -Gas grill available for use. -Snow shovel supplied to guest when weather calls for it. -Hand soap and laundry soap is provided. Guests provide their own shampoo and body wash. -Comforters/bedding are changed out different seasons to make it more comfortable for guests. So your bedding may be different then what you see in current photos. -No more then 2 dogs allowed and when you book, you must get pre- approval. Extra fees apply. $50 pet fee per dog. -Laundry room is locked and not offered as a normal amenity. Available for long terms guests, emergency’s or special occasions. -Internet/WiFi available, but does NOT support streaming movies or gaming systems. Basic needs usually supported. We make no guarantees that all your WiFi needs, can be supported. We can make no guarantees your remote work or school work can be supported. - TV, located in lower level of house. -Virginia has stink bug and lady bug season. These little nuisance sneak in through open doors, and on guests clothes. During the season you might spot these in house. They are harmless and means good luck! ***We are a farm, in the mountains, in the woods! This means there are many critters. These little critters can be sneaky. Some you might enjoy encountering and others you may not. We do our very best to keep the property and house free of all pesky wildlife, however this cannot always be controlled . Guests who book, understand and agree that critter encounters (indoor or out) is not grounds for a refund.
