Calico Cottage Guest House
Cute-as-a-bugs ear West Annapolis guest cottage just 1.5 miles from the Navy Stadium and less than 2 miles from Academy's Gate 8. Cottage features: high speed WiFi, EZ free parking, washer & dryer, kitchenette, air conditioning, self check-in and laptop friendly workspace. Park 10 feet from front door. Only 1 step to enter. No stairs to negotiate while carrying luggage! 15 min. walk to Weems Creek with scenic, serene waterviews and a few more minutes walk to popular Bean Rush Cafe. Cottage features a bedroom/sitting room with super comfy king size bed, kitchen/dining area and bathroom with shower. High-speed internet, 42" flat screen TV with Fios cable. Kitchen equipped with two-burner cooktop, mini-fridge, and microwave. Stacked washer and dryer for your convenience. Attached deck with wrought iron patio table and umbrella. NOTE: The house is located next to Route 50. There is a sound wall but you will hear mild road noise inside and more outside. Cottage is equipped with a soothing spa sound machine. Entire cottage and yard. There is a fire pit in the backyard and firewood available on site. Owner on site. West Annapolis is one of the most popular residential neighborhoods in the city. Close to the Naval Academy, St. Johns College, and the historic district, but out of the crowds and parking challenges of the city core. Easy 3 minute walk to favorite-among-locals Heroes Pub, (famous burgers!) and 2 minute walk to the eclectic Antiques At Annapolis Store for fun browsing. The immediate neighborhood is all residential. Dead-end street with light traffic. Easy, close access to Route 50. There is a Calico kittie you may see out and about. She's quiet, shy and won't bother you but, if you can get close to her, likes to be petted. She does not enter the Guest House.
