Charming Mid-Century Beach Cottage located in north Dewey Beach. Relax and enjoy one of the original beach cottages built in Rehoboth by the Sea in the 1960s. Only two blocks to the ocean and a short walk to restaurants in downtown Dewey or take a trolley ride to Rehoboth Beach for some great shopping. No parking pass needed - there's room for 4 cars in the driveway. Feel free to borrow the 4 beach chairs and enjoy the outdoor shower. A new kitchen and powder room was just put in this winter. We have one of the original mid-century cottages built in the 1960s. It is quaint, cozy, beachy, and full of charm. Since we are close to Rt 1 there is some traffic noise but it is not as noticeable once inside the house. Our house is small so we request no more than 6 adults on the reservation. We DO NOT supply bath/beach towels and bed sheets/pillowcases. You will need to bring towels and sheets for one queen, one double, and four twins. We DO supply pillows and blankets; toilet paper and paper towels. You will have access to the entire house, yard, and driveway/parking area. There are no shared spaces. Our driveway is off of Rt. 1 and parking is next to the black gate that can be seen from Rt. 1. You will have the entire house to yourself but I'm available for questions or info anytime. Our house is located between Fifer's Farm Market and the surf shop "East of Maui". Dewey is a small beach town with great places to eat while listening to live music. The beaches are not crowded and everything you would want to do is in walking distance. No need to move your car until you are ready to leave. You can walk or bike to everything or take the bus or trolley. We are a couple of blocks from a trolly stop that runs between Dewey and Rehoboth Beaches. We do not rent to guests under the age of 21 without a parent present; however, families with children are allowed. We love our house and it is not suitable for Senior Week/ High School graduation celebrations. Thank you for understanding.
