Located in the heart of our small town’s historical district and at the edge of the battlefield, you are surrounded by historical sites, great restaurants, wineries, handmade ice cream, museums and shoppes. Guests tell us they love the location (walking distance to everything), the cleanliness, and the deck space. The back deck offers a place to enjoy your morning coffee or a refreshing drink after a fun day of exploration. If you don’t feel like walking down the street for a delicious meal, grab some food from the nearby grocery and throw it on the charcoal grill in the back yard. The space is all yours to enjoy. We don’t live on the premises but are available to answer any questions or assist with anything you may need... just call, text, or email us. Walk out the backyard and you’ll be on Cemetery Hill. A few steps to the south and you’ll be at the ice cream Shoppe, the Farnsworth House restaurant or beer garden, and Reid’s winery. Cross the street for historical home tours and you’ll go back in time to life as it was in 1863 Gettysburg. Browse original shoppes or go on a ghost walk or historical tour. Stroll in a northerly direction to head to the town square with more unique shoppes and restaurants. Since we’re located so close to so much, walking is a great option. From our apartment, it’s a short walk to access Segway tours, horse drawn carriages, bicycle & scooter rentals, tours by licensed battlefield guides, as well as bus tours.
