safe&warm, cozy&charming! close to I-40
Fun, quirky, quiet & all to yourself, a scenic (it's harvest season, see fields of cotton, farmers in the fields) 10 minites from I-40@exit 68 (about halfway between Memphis and Nashville). Enjoy an open floor plan and bright sunroom w/ bistro table & ceiling fan where you can sit&sip wine, tea or coffee in a safe rural setting. Throw open the windows - it's like sitting outside! Also, fully equipped kitchen if needed. Hardwood floors make it dog friendly. Smoking ok in sunroom! (open windows) 1.5 bedroom recently remodeled cottage. I'm an artist so I have some of my work as well as the works of other artists displayed. We have tried to make it as warm and inviting as we could. The entire house is there for guests to enjoy. We don't live on premises but are only 3 minutes away if a guest needs something. Dogs are welcome provided they are counted as guests with a limit of 2 dogs. We can meet the guests at the I-40 exit, at the home or use the lockbox for key. It's up to them - whatever they prefer. The home is nestled in the middle of a small rural farming community. It's a short {12 miles}, scenic drive to the house. There's a restaurant nearby as well a cotton gin and local farmers Co-op. Depending on time of year, you can see farming operations first hand. Most places you'll need a vehicle unless you want to take an evening stroll throughout the neighborhood. The house is on the main road but there is a small subdivision behind it with little or no traffic. It's an old neighborhood that's been around awhile and most people were born nearby or married into a local family. Everybody knows everybody!! It's almost like living in Mayberry!!! I follow Airbnb’s five-step enhanced cleaning process, which is based on Airbnb’s cleaning handbook that was developed in partnership with experts. Ask me about this process if you have any questions.
