Our home is nestled into the side of Hualalai at a comfortable elevation of 1300ft, panoramic ocean views and absolutely spectacular, year-round Hawaiian sunsets are unobstructed and breathtaking from all 3 bedrooms, the Great Room, and the covered lanai. We are ideally located just below the Mamalahoa highway at Hina Lani in the gated Kona View Estates. You can have the very best of all worlds: coveted serenity of Island seclusion, open floor plan embracing the direct ocean views & gorgeous sunsets, while only a 10-minute drive from downtown Kona or the airport, making our house a great base for your unforgettable Hawaii holiday. 
This oceanview home has 2,500 sq ft of living space with 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. As you enter through the front door, the open floor plan feels boundless with the Great Room's vaulted ceiling and 16’ sliding glass doors leading to the lanai and the magnificent Pacific Ocean appears to stretch endlessly. As you step out onto the lanai, savor the abundant sunshine with a slightly cooler temperature, a reprieve from the heat of lower elevations.
The expansive, covered lanai has plenty of comfortable outdoor furniture inviting you to relax outdoors. Take in the incredible ocean views from the lanai, a sure-to-please 30’x16’ infinity pool with Baja Shelf. Mesmerizing sunsets reflecting over the glass-like pool water surface can be appreciated year round. After the sunset, let the night sky filled with stars welcome you to the plunge pool where you can gaze at the distant “city"" lights. The plunge pool also has a 2’ water fall cascading into the pool.
The Great Room living area has a new 70” flat screen TV, cable programming, Bluray player, comfortable sectional sofa with indirect soffit lighting. The dining area has counter-height dining tables & chairs.
The gourmet kitchen off of the Great Room features: induction cooktop, stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops, All Clad & Calphalon non-stick cookware, and KitchenAid stand mixer.
The Master Suite at the southern end of the home is spacious with commanding ocean views through the 16’ sliding glass doors. This bedroom boasts a California King bed, built-in desk, love seat sofa, new 60” flat screen TV, large walk-in closet. An attached sitting room with another sofa bathes in natural light with an ocean view and access to the lanai through the 8’ sliding glass door. The Master Bath has a soothing walk-in shower large enough for two and a separate soaking tub. 

 

The second and third bedrooms are located at the opposite end of the home from the Master Suite. The second bedroom also has a California King bed, love seat sofa, new 60” flat screen TV, large writing desk, and walk-in closet. A 16’ sliding glass doors bring in the amazing ocean views and access to the lanai.
The third bedroom has a Queen bed and a small built-in desk. An 8’ sliding glass door gives you views of the ocean & access to the lanai.
All three bedrooms have ceiling fans to promote cooling airflow. The second bathroom has a large walk-in shower. The third half-bath is off of the laundry area. 
Great Wifi access throughout the house & lanai. Costco is less than 8 minutes away.

About the Host

Aloha and welcome to the Big Island. We are thankful to Hawaii and its peoples for allowing us to work and play on this great island. Kona Coast Vacations manages over 200 condos, homes and estates along the leeward (dry and sunny) side of the Big Island ( this island is named Hawaii, same name as the State). We are located right in Kailua Kona which is about 10 minutes south of the KOA (Kona) international airport. Most people include Kailua Kona, Keauhou, Kahaluu, and Holualoa, under the umbrella of the name Kona. We also have team members living near the resort area ( about 25 minutes north of the airport) which include Mauna Kea, Mauna Lani, Hali'i Kai, Waikoloa Beach Resort (near the coast), Waikoloa Village (up mountain, about 15 minutes from the coast), etc. Our team of inspectors check the property before your arrival, after you depart, and we inspect the cleaners. If something is amiss, please let us know immediately on arrival and we will address your concerns ASAP. We are open seven days a week to assist guests and owners.
