Nice big city stay

Waikiki Marina was great! We had a lovely little studio apartment with great view of harbor. The parking garage spot was a bonus. Only thing we wish we had was a broom to sweep away sand. We would definitely stay again. This was our first trip to Hawaii and first time to use VBRO. Great experience.

Close to beach, shopping and good restaurants

Very good location for our first trip to Hawaii. Excellent view.

Loved this place!

This was perfect for my husband and I!! We were. Little nervous hearing the reviews about the elevators, but we didn’t have any issues! If it were a busier time we may have had to wait! The condo has been nicely updated and served us perfectly!! We will definitely stay here again!

Beautiful view!

The sunsets between the buildings across the street were spectacular. The bed was very comfortable. Waikiki Beach was an easy 5 minute walk away, Ala Moana Mall was also 5 minutes away. Free parking was very nice. We found this condo to be a nice place to stay for a few nights but much too small for a long stay and there were problems. Only one elevator was working, no closet space or room for luggage, (we had to sit on the bed to watch TV), no ceiling fan (as advertised), the oven turned out to be a toaster oven and there was very little cutlery and dishes.

Exactly as the pictures show with a great location close and with easy access to everything

Had a scare at check in when given the wrong codes; however, this was quickly resolved and not the hosts doing but that of the maid. The condo is very spacious for two individuals and has a beautiful view of the ocean. Would only recommend the addition of a broom to sweep inadvertently left sand from the floor, following our adventures, to avoid walking on this barefoot the duration of the stay. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this to other travelers as the price and location are both perfect!

This was really nice. Only here for 3 days but coming back for 3 more at the beginning of the following week. The view is awesome. The place has everything. Elevators were fine during our stay. Great Location.

Great view walking to some shopping

Would stay here again, about a mile to walk to the downtown Waikiki beach and shopping. Great view of marina and free parking is nice. Only 1 elevator works for 40 floors so had to wait 15 min a few times. Sign says elevator should be finished by 2019. Can walk access street to abc store and McDonalds.

Great location and excellent views of the marina!

The condo was in a great location; we were able to walk to many attractions and restaurants and Waikiki Beach! The condo was well stocked and clean and quite spacious for a smaller condo. The check in and check out process were simple and well-explained by the owners. We also had no issues with the elevator, even though we had been advised that it could be slow and crowded since only one elevator currently services the whole building. We would definitely stay here again!

As advertised, no complaints, very happy

When I first booked the place I had a hard time believing that the photos and the description would live up to the hype. I'm pleased to say my expectations were handsomely surpassed. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great value in Waikiki.

Unbeatable Deal In Waikiki

I've stayed in Waikiki Many times at prices ranging from $250 to $300 per night. Not one of the accommodations was as packed with amenities, features, and high end materials as this one. The view itself was amazing but I had a hard time getting over the attention to detail this studio packed. Ill be back every year!

What a studio!

My husband and I choose this condo because it was a good location and had an ocean view with parking included. We thought it was a great deal. It turned out to be a great deal. The bed was very comfortable and the view was amazing. We did not have any problems with our elevators during our stay in July.

Cute studio and amzing view!

We picked this studio to watch the fireworks. We always go down to magic island every year to view them. It was nice to avoid the crowd and enjoy a bottle of wine in comfort and even have the option to pair it with a home made meal. The studio has everything needed to cook any dish in any cuisine. Thank you for the great stay

I finally found my go to vacation rental

The place was clean. I take that back it was impeccable. It seemed as if it were just built prior to my arrival because the floors were definitely never walked on, the furniture still had a natural exotic wood factory smell and the cabinets were gorgeous. Not only will I be back but Ill be taking more photos for my own condo renovations. Great job Tom Coffey!

Great Room! Great View! Highly Recommend

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights in June and it was as good as advertised. Check-in was smooth and easy. The view was amazing! We really enjoyed waking up the to view of the ocean. The location was great and many food choices within a miles walk. Beach access points were only 5-10min walk away and the room was stocked with 2 beach chairs for use. Before we booked some reviewers mentioned concerns with the shower and elevators but we had no problems. We would definitely stay here again!

Little Ocean View Treasure in Waikiki

It was an amazing trip. We enjoyed the view from the room and being able to cook dinner in the studio with a full kitchenette. We saved a lot of money by not eating out. The pool and Jacuzzi were great to use in the evening. We even barbecued down by the pool one evening. We will be back.

Nice Condo, Poor elevators

This condo met all our needs once you were in the room. The view is to die for. The bed is huge and very comfortable, Now for the not so good. The elevator situation at this building is terrible. One elevator was down the whole time we were there and from speaking with the full time residents has been down for awhile. This means that most times you use the elevator it will be full. We had one day that this elevator went down and was stuck on the 16th floor. We had to go down and hike the 24 flights of stairs. This was difficult for my wife who had recently been hospitalized. it was down for the rest of that day.

Great location. Great view.

The apartment was in a great location in Waikiki. Walking distance to everything. The view was beautiful. The bed was perfect. Everything you need is available in the modern kitchenette. Only issue was the location of the room to the lift. It could be quite noisy. As well as the plumbing in the bathroom, Unless we turned off the tap for the toilet cistern it would make a persistent high pitched whistle. All in all though, it was a great studio apartment to spend a couple of days in Honolulu. Thanks, Phil and Rikki

Great condo with a beautiful view!

This condo is in a great location, newly renovated and has an amazing view. The elevators were slow at times, and the condo was a bit small, but perfect for two people. Rated a 3 star for experience, as we were provided the wrong lockbox combination prior to arriving, and had to contact the owners to straighten it out at check-in. Would definitely recommend staying at this condo!

Great Location and Wonderful View

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! It was a great location - off of Waikiki but still within walk distance. The best deal I could find for New Year's Week. The view was beautiful both day and night. We had no problems with the elevators and loved having a parking spot. The condo was clean and well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. We loved the bathroom remodel and the comfy bed. The hot tub was freezing! The posts on the bed were shin bruisers too but we'd stay again if we go back to Honolulu!

This is such an awesome place! The view is amazing, the condo is very clean. It's walking distance from so many shops. The only bad thing is the elevator. Only one was working at the time and sometimes we would wait 5 minutes just for the elevator to come. But that's the condo buildings fault. The condo itself is pretty great. Definitely recommend it!

Great stay

We stayed for 4 nights. The view is amazing, location excellent, and the apartment very nice. The bed, in particular, was extremely comfy. The owners were excellent to deal with, and instructions for getting in etc were easy to follow. We had a small issue with the AC casing rattling due to very strong winds during our stay.. When we told the owners after our stay they were very apologetic and wished we had told them after the first night and they would have come and fixed it. There does seem to be a problem with the elevators.. Only one worked while we were there. The first 2 days a note said it was because of the wind. But the wind died down the last 2 days we were there and it still wasn't working. There was one occasion when neither worked and we had to climb the stairs. But apart from that it was excellent. Would definitely stay again.

A lot more negatives than positives

We were not very impressed with this place. There were some glaring issues with this condo: -Took almost 2 hours to check in. Owners gave us an incorrect code and didn’t respond to our dozens of calls and emails for almost two hours. The owner gave some excuse about being at an appointment. I'm sorry, but this is just not a valid excuse. If I showed up at the Holiday Inn and there was no one to check me in for TWO HOURS, I would be rightfully livid. I expect the same level of service from a privately owned condo. If you have an appointment, then you make sure SOMEONE is around to answer a phone in case a guest has an issue checking in. -There was no grip on the bathroom rug, causing me to slip and fall on the toilet while getting out of the shower. How irresponsible. -This place had no “homey” feel to it, which is why we prefer to rent privately owned condos instead of hotels when in Hawaii. There were no coffee filters (I expect at least the bare minimum of what a hotel provides), the utensils were just sloppily thrown in a drawer and there was a total of ONE spoon in the kitchenette -Shower is SMALL. I am 5’6 and barely fit under the shower head. The size of the shower is about 3 feet x 3 feet, making it very difficult to shave my legs -There was only one working elevator during our stay. And shortly after we arrived, the only working elevator broke down, leaving a bunch of us stuck downstairs. They were able to fix one out of the two that were broken, but for the rest of the week we spent 5+ minutes waiting for the elevator to and from our unit. While we were waiting around with some of the other guests and residents while the elevator was being repaired, one of the residents shared that the elevators have been an ongoing issue for quite a while, and the condo association keeps enacting band aid fixes, which causes both elevators to break down frequently. Oh, and one of the staff members that was in the lobby said the day before that he got stuck inside the elevator for over 10 minutes. Beyond those issues, this is a fairly nice condo. It was clean, nicely furnished, with nice cabinets and counters. The view is great, the location convenient, and the price was pretty good. But none of that makes up for the issues mentioned above. I would absolutely never stay at this condo again. I recommend the owners put more care and attention to detail into their units to provide their guests with a more comfortable stay.

What a SHAME

view TOP NOTCH, Room and Accomodation Top Notch, Location Top Notch, Shame the elevator did not work and only 1 of 2 was working the whole time we were there. Lots of Restaurants close by in walking distance lots of shopping easy walk to the beach. We spoke to many of the owners in the building as the day we arrived, the elevators (BOTH OF THEM) were out of order. To our dismay I left my cellphone number and we never did receive a callback about the problems we experienced. This was the only disappointment we had. Although I'LL be damned if I was going to walk up 24 flights of stairs with a suitcase.

Worth every penny. Loved the location and price.

This was walking distance to one of the best beaches in Waikiki, across from the Hilton park mall, hotel and plaza. Everything was upgraded in the studio. It is not huge, but perfect for a couple. I went with my wife. Every night we would talk about getting back to the room to watch the sunset over the ocean. As far as the basics go, very nice bed, nice TV, internet, easy access in and out of building, plenty to do in walking distance. There is no tub, just a shower, but there is a hot tub downstairs. Even though the laundry is coin, there are multiple machines so you can do laundry in 1.5 hours (multiple loads). You have to go down the street to get change (we went to McDonalds). There are tons of great restaurants in walking distance (or driving). The super huge mall (one of many) down the road (we drove). ABC stores everywhere. Breakfast options everywhere (cheap). The small kitchen was very nice, two small fridges, and all the appliances you could want (we learned after one week on the Big Island, we should be eating out anyways... food is expensive in Hawaii and it was more fun eating out). If you are on a budget and want total bang for your buck, this is a great choice (we felt). I talked to the owner about any concerns I had and there is staff on duty if you need (during regular hours). They were happy to help. We did find a boogie board and two beach chairs in the closet. If you want to catch any tours, you just have to go to the hotel across the street. By the way, having a car is awesome too, but if you don't want one or don't want to spend the money... this is the perfect location. Parking was included for free (inside the building, very safe). Thank you again. We really had a great time.

Thank You Thomas

Thomas was an excellent, responsive host. He answered all of our questions prior to our arrival and was also very prompt with helping us during our stay. The location of the apartment was perfect - walking distance to the beach, the Hilton hotel and its amenities, the high end shopping area (Luxury Row), shopping centres and public transit. There was also an ABC Superstore at the corner for any last-minute needs. Further, we used the concierge services of the nearby Aqua Palms Hotel to help in planning activities during our stay. It proved priceless (ask for Shane!). The unit itself is ideal for 3 people. The kitchen is well equipped. We would be glad to stay here again...the location can't be beat and the apartment is well kept and functional. Mahalo to Thomas, we enjoyed our stay!

Great View

The view was fantasitic and stuido was nicely decorated, small, but good enough for the two of us. We had issues with getting into our room and had to contact the owners, but they quickly rectify the situation. The unit wasn't very clean as there was a lot of dust around. We had issues with the shower as we could only get luke warm water which was a problem for us because we like hot showers. We still had a pleasant stay here and for the price, location, view, and the free secure parking, we would recommend it to our friends and family.

What a way to spend St Patricks Day

I decided I would experience the night life that Honolulu has to offer this time around. March was a great month for this and staying in an amazing modern flat overlooking the ocean and city skyline was icing on the cake. The photos are impressive but they really don't do the condo justice. The studio has been remodeled from floor to ceiling with high quality materials and the high attention was given to the smallest details. Im looking forward to next March!

Beautiful Unit - Would stay again

I stayed in the unit on the 33rd floor for 10 nights (I think it was) and overall had a good experience. The only CON that seemed to bother me was the elevator. It was a slower elevator and sometimes had issues. I didn’t once have to walk up the stairs though, as I am a fairly patient person. We were able to make several meals with the items provided in the kitchen, the bed was too comfortable if that’s even possible (makes you never want to get out of it in the morning), the view was picture perfect, the walk to the lagoon and the beach near the Hilton Village were very short, parking is extremely convenient and valuable to have, location is ideal and I wouldn’t prefer to be staying any closer to the core of Waikiki at all (We would walk to the Waikiki strip and the Ala Moana Mall in the evenings) I read many reviews of the building before I went and was fairly skeptical as people tend to over exaggerate the CONs. But when I arrived in the unit and found that all the negative reviews were invalid I was greatly relieved. The owners were also very easy to get into contact with, even when I was having a blonde moment and couldn’t get the lock open so they sent their son down to help me out  Melissa Desjardins Winnipeg, MB, Canada MelissaDesjardins@live.ca

Loner's Paradise

The views! I like living in a big city, and I have always been fond of skyscrapers and city skylines. Here you'll get the best of it, any time - day or night, sunrise or sunset. The unit is small. From my experience in other hotels and vacation rentals, this unit may not be roomy enough to accomodate more than one person for more than 1-2 nights. However, "small" also means that the air conditioner can cool it down in minutes! What's interesting, the floor area of the unit is bigger than it's ceiling area by a few dozens of sq.feet because of the niche under the windows - big enough to house two dressers and all of your luggage. The building does not have balconies. For me, a non-smoker, this was a good thing, because balconies are usually used by smokers. No-smoking policy in the building + no balconies = a much cleaner air in the unit. Also, people on balconies chatting to each other or on their phones may put a lot of unwanted noise (and information too!) into your ears already burdened by the city buzz. Yes, with windows open, you'll get quite a bit of city noise. I live in downtown of a big city, with a streetcar running right under my windows and a freeway ramp nearby, and I am used to urban noise (in fact, I like it a lot), but even for me the outside noise here was a bit too much for the first couple of nights. If you come from suburbs or from a ranch house, be prepared to wake up at night every now and then from the police sirens, roaring air conditioners of the nearby hotels, and the traffic noise from Ala Moana blvd. Parking is secure, however the garage space is tight, meaning that it is OK for compact and mid-size cars, but you have to be extra careful at turns if you plan to drive an SUV or a pickup truck in there. With my daily morning workouts and afternoon hikes or trips to the beach the washer and drier in the unit were a godsend. If you bring a laptop computer or just a smartphone, then the free wi-fi will probably satisfy all your in-house entertainment needs. If you want to put your entertainment on a 32" flat-screen TV, then figure out how to connect your device to the TV (i.e., bring necessary A/V or HDMI cables). The unit comes with zero leftovers from previous tenants. Be prepared not to find any food, nor any snorkel sets or beach umbrellas. If you happen to have an urgent need for something like a toothbrush, toilet paper, or even underwear - there is an ABC Store almost right downstairs open until 1 AM.

Nice, clean studio in great location

My boyfriend and I stayed at Lucinda and Tom's studio from 12/9 - 12/13. The studio is small but nice and clean. The free parking and location of the studio were extremely convenient, and the ocean view from the studio was a welcome bonus (ocean view hotel rooms usually run 2x-3x the cost of this studio). One minor complaint is that the elevators in the building were a little slow, but this didn't bother us too much. We would definitely recommend the studio and consider staying here again the next time we return to Honolulu.

The perfect stay

Our little family of three had the perfect stay in this beautiful studio overlooking the ocean and the marina in Waikiki. The kitchenette had everything we needed to cook and the studio also provided lots of linens. The beach towels came in very handy.

Thank you for such a wonderful visit to Honolulu.

Our stay was wonderful. The studio was perfect for us. Clean, well organized and easily accessible. The views were beautiful. Well worth every penny. Thanks

clever use of a camera, views are between two buildings

My partner and I stayed recently and whilst we had a great time in hawaii we werent exactly happy with the unit/condo.Firstly the view , absoloute ocean view is via a zoom lense, you actually look into two buildings, very misleading and inacurate. The unit faces the afternoon sun, which means you have to shut the blinds as the room is too hot in the afternoon and you will need the airconditioning on. Actually we left the blinds closed all the time so no one looked in, however two blind slats were missing. The bed was horrible and we woke feeling exhausted, we both sunk in the middle and I realised on the last night the best way to sleep was without a pillow as the bed sloped in the middle that badly you didnt need a pillow.Australians beware, the word studio means, can't swing a cat without hitting its head four times, very small. I had to be carefull not to hit the fan while taking my shirt off it was that small.Very clever use of camera work. The next store neighbour smoked and it came through our unit bathroom, even though its a non smoking building. The positves , the sitter/condo is modern inside, fitted out with beatiful appliances, filtered water from fridge is great, great location, hair dryer is great.

Nice time in Oahu

My husband and I stayed here 3 nights in early June. The apartment fit our needs just fine. It has a beautiful view and all the needed amenities. A good size for a couple but wouldn't try to fit anymore or expect to have space for dinner guests. But that's not what we needed. Was a good base location to explore Oahu and Waikiki. The kitchen was a nice size and allowed us to eat/prepare meals at home rather than eating out for everything. Also loved the free parking (and safe) which is not easy to find. Would recommend and use again.

Great place, great view

The studio apartment was everything we wanted: kitchen, king-sized bed, large bathroom. The view was spectacular. We were one block from the beach, one block from the major mall, one block from the convenience stores. The studio was easily accessible, we found the studio just as advertised. The owners were great to work with. We would definitely recommend this apartment and would plan to stay there again on our return to Hawaii.

Greatest Condo in Honolulu!

I had to stay in Waikiki for 2 weeks for work and found this little piece of heaven on VRBO. I contacted the owners, who were super quick with responses and answered all of my questions. I'm so glad I chose to stay here. The unit was very clean and very comfortable! I loved that it had a great view, a full kitchen and was truly in the middle of everything you would want to see/do when in the area. The bed was comfortable and enjoyed the cozy feel of the studio unit. It was such a blessing to have a washer/dryer at my disposal... loved coming home with a suitcase of clean clothes! The view is due west so the room warmed up quickly in the evenings but it does have a window AC unit that does a great job cooling things down. You just won't want to close the blinds because you might miss the beautiful sunset! I think most people I met were travelers such as myself but it was very quiet - loved having my own parking spot and the ability to walk about 5 minutes to the beach. If ever in the area again, I'd stay here in a heartbeat! Many thanks to Lucinda for taking care of me while I was there

Great place at a great price!

I am a frequent traveler to Honolulu and the combination of location (right on Ala Moana Blvd, literally 5 blocks from the beach and endless number of great restaurants), price (parking is included!) and updated amenities, makes this a must stay. However, it is a studio (albeit a very nice one), so you should take that into consideration. I would stay at this condo versus any hotel in the area, including the Hawaiii Prince Across the street, which for a comparable room would be $200 ++

The spectacular view alone was enough, but it doesnt stop there. The place was clean, modern, and quiet! The owners were really great at staying in touch. Conveniently located about a 10-15 walk to the main Waikiki strip! The price for this kind of place is hard to beat! Comes with internet and parking...at the hotels you would get a $20 charge for parking and $15 for internet a night. Great place, high up were you don't really hear any street traffic either.

Great Location in a Quiet Building

We had a great time here! The unit is VERY clean, quiet and has great furnishings and an INCREDIBLE view. The kitchen was beautiful with black granite countertops. It is close enough to the heart of Waikiki that you can walk there (if you want) in just a few minutes. However, it's just far enough removed from the typical 'rat race' of the 'strip' which make for a quiet location. The cool breezes at night were also incredible. I would definitely stay there again on my next visit.

Hawaiian winter

The condo is great!! the views are amazing and it was great to arrive and find everything exactly how it was described. The studio was very clean and was equipped with everything we needed. The owners were always available and happy to help with any question , it made our trip one of a kind and hopefully we will come back soon. The location of the apartment is great because is close to everything but still quiet and peaceful. I would highly recommend this place to my family and friends.
