Located on a peaceful street near Pahoa, this very private, beautifully furnished 3 bedroom, 2 ½ bath home is wonderfully convenient to swimming, snorkeling, dining and shopping, and all the sightseeing you can squeeze in!

The master suite with a king bed, the 2nd bedroom is a queen and the 3rd bedroom has 2 twin beds. The sizable modern kitchen, with its beautiful custom counter tops and backsplash works extremely well with plenty of room to prepare and cook wonderful island meals and there’s dining for 6 inside. There is even a gas BBQ grill for your outdoor cooking. The grounds are beautiful and neatly kept. There are some fruit trees on the property – you can pick, eat and enjoy whatever is in season! He’epali Hale also has all of the modern amenities that you would want in a vacation rental home including Cable TV, High Speed Internet, Long distance calling, Washer/Dryer and covered parking.

Centrally located in the Hawaiian Beaches subdivision just outside of Pahoa. Whale watch from the park at the bottom of the neighborhood – take a picnic! From there enjoy the drive south down Old Government Beach Road along the coast and then through the huge mango groves, and on down the Red Road to Kalapana. Only about 20 minutes SW of Hilo, you are convenient to all of the sights and sounds that the east side of the Big Island has to offer. From here, swimming and snorkeling in Kapoho or Hilo is a 20 minute drive in either direction, and the Volcanoes National Park is only 30-40 minutes away.

From the Hilo Airport: Take a left leaving the airport, and you'll be on Hwy 11. You'll travel approximately 6 miles to Keaau to a stop light at Hwy 130. You'll take a left here, traveling towards Pahoa - approximately 11 miles. At the roundabout in Pahoa, stay on 130 following the sign that says Kalapana - this route goes around the town of Pahoa on the bypass. The first left turn you’ll see is KAHAKAI BLVD – its right behind the Longs Drugs Shopping Center (there’s also a Burger King, a gas station and another restaurant – Aloha Lehua). Turn LEFT onto Kahakai Blvd. Kahakai will go down a couple of miles, then it makes a 90 degree turn to the right for a block (you’ll pass a large school on the left). After the school, you’ll make a 90 degree turn to the left. You’ll pass Aku St, then Akule St. The next street is Puna Mauka Loop N. Turn LEFT onto Puni Mauka Loop N. and go down to the 5th street, He’epali St. Turn LEFT on He’epali. He’epali Hale is the 3rd house on the RIGHT. The gate will be open. The gate code is 6655. The keyless entry code is 6655 . its a good idea to bring a pocket flashlight with you.
