Summary

Settle in at Kilohana Vista and let the warm gentle trade wind breeze envelope you as you view an unmatched spectacular view of the harbor and Cruise Ships from your Lanai, Spa or Pool provided by the perfect 500 foot elevation. Close to the center of town for shopping, dining and entertainment, yet so private you can “skinny dip” or enjoy that quiet bottle of wine and still view the magnificent Kona Coast in total seclusion. The yard is a perfect blend of tropical plants giving that “jungle like” atmosphere. You will only imagine the monkeys and parrots in the trees. Actually, small flocks of parrots fly over almost every afternoon on their return trip to their roost "Mauka" (up the mountain). You can sit in the Spa and watch them fly over (3-5 pm).

Settle in at Kilohana Vista and let the warm gentle trade wind breeze envelope you as you view an unmatched spectacular view of the harbor and Cruise Ships from your Lanai, Spa or Pool provided by the perfect 500 foot elevation. Built in 2009, this custom Air conditioned Acorn Home by Empyrean International features open living with the interior spaces opening onto the lanai area through custom Nano folding wall systems. Vaulted ceilings with recessed lighting throughout overlook custom hardwood and travertine tile floors. The formal dining room is located in a private alcove or enjoy alfresco dining on the covered lanai overlooking the pool and spa. The family room off the kitchen features a massive breakfast bar or intimate table for two for that morning cup of coffee. The entire rear of the home is open or in glass providing an ocean view from almost everywhere. The master suite provides a fabulous ocean view while the two guest rooms have huge windows for a truly tropical view to wake up to in the morning.

We hope you come to enjoy the warmth of Kilohana Vista as much as we do. You might hear some traffic noise but, these times should be limited to higher traffic times.

Near town yet far enough away to give the true flavor of Hawaii. Conveniently located close to downtown Kailua Kona. Explore downtown historic Kailua Kona. The town of Kailua Kona "hides" some very important Hawaii Island historic spots. Both the Hulihee Palace and the Mokuaikaua Church are located on Alii Drive. King Kamehameha I spent his last years living near the current site of the King Kamehameha's Kona Beach Hotel until his passing in 1819. The Ahuena Heiau, located on the grounds of the hotel, is a reconstructed temple rebuilt by Kamehameha himself and is on the register of National Historic Landmarks.

Watch the people and the cruise ships come and go from the Kailua Kona Pier, with access to Hawaii’s best scuba diving, big-game fishing, kayaking, dolphin and whale watching. Visit the famous Farmer's Market. Enjoy a shave ice or a cup of Kona coffee, have a light snack or a gourmet meal, buy an inexpensive souvenir or a piece of fine art, book an activity, go for a swim or hang out at the beach. The pier is the starting and finishing point of the Ironman World Championship (October) and a great place to watch the sunset. Everything you need and want is readily available in the heart of the quaint Kailua Kona town.

Kilohana Vista is conveniently located, a great home base to explore the many wonders of the Big Island of Hawaii including the Volcano National Park, Mauna Kea Observatory, coffee and macadamia nut farms, artist communities, and more!
