Elegant ground-floor unit with a partial ocean view. Ali’i Villas is an oceanfront complex located close to beaches, the downtown area, shops, restaurants and markets. There is a solar-heated outdoor pool, barbecue area and benches beside the ocean. The grounds are meticulous and tropically landscaped.
Unit upgrades include: limestone tile flooring throughout, teak custom cabinetry and doors, extra sink area near bathroom, walk-in shower with ceiling-to-floor limestone tile, instant electronic tankless water heater, KitchenAid appliances, and granite countertops. For guest convenience, in addition to the king-size bed in the master bedroom, the unit also includes a queen-size sleeper sofa with its own bedding. There are partial ocean views and seasonal sunset views from the lanai.
Near town yet far enough away to give the true flavor of Hawaii. Conveniently located close to downtown Kailua Kona. Explore downtown Kailua Kona, which "hides" some very important Hawaii Island historic spots. Both the Hulihee Palace and the Mokuaikaua Church are located on Alii Drive. King Kamehameha I spent his last years living near the current site of the King Kamehameha's Kona Beach Hotel until his passing in 1819. The Ahuena Heiau, located on the grounds of the hotel, is a reconstructed temple rebuilt by Kamehameha himself and is on the register of National Historic Landmarks.
Watch the people and the cruise ships come and go from the Kailua Kona Pier, with access to Hawaii’s best scuba diving, big-game fishing, kayaking, and dolphin and whale watching. Visit the famous farmers' market. Enjoy a shave ice or a cup of Kona coffee, have a light snack or a gourmet meal, buy an inexpensive souvenir or a piece of fine art, book an activity, go for a swim or hang out at the beach. The pier is the starting and finishing point of the Ironman World Championship (October) and a great place to watch the sunset. Everything you need and want is readily available in the heart of the quaint Kailua Kona town.
Alii Villas is conveniently located, a great home base for exploring the many wonders of the Big Island of Hawaii including Volcanoes National Park, Mauna Kea Observatory, coffee and macadamia nut farms, artist communities, and more!
