Come and enjoy a comfortable, clean, and affordable home with ocean view in the front yard. It is located in a friendly, quiet, and safe residential area of Kona in the Big Island of Hawaii but only 2-3 miles away from the popular tourist spot, Ali’i Drive. You will enjoy all the fine shops and beach front restaurants on Ali’i drive, not to mention, all the different sites, world-class resorts, and natural wonders that the Big Island has to offer. The kitchen is equipped with a full size refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, stove, and a conventional oven suitable for baking. A full set of dishes for four, cookware, and utensils are also provided for use. The master bedroom has a queen sized bed. One of the two smaller bedrooms has two twin beds and the other has a futon, small desk, and a small office chair. TV cable and internet are included. The living room and all three bedrooms have a ceiling fan. Window ACs are provided in the two bedrooms and extra fans besides the ceiling fans are also provided. Utilities (electric and water) are all included but electricity over $150.00 may be charge to the guest. Towels and beach towels are provided for four people. The backyard includes patio furniture for outside eating. The laundry facility is in the garage. The owner’s car is stored in the garage but there is space in the driveway for one guest's car. There is easy access for wheelchairs through the garage. The master bedroom is wheelchair friendly and both bathrooms are wheelchair accessible but the hallway bathroom has more space. I can provide a bath chair if needed. Guest has full access to the entire house. Even though I am not available in person, I can be reached any time if there are any issues with the property and I will have one of my contacts in the area come within a day or two. As indicated, it's a quiet residential area but very close to the tourist area and stores. See first paragraph. Recommend renting a car or a bike. It is common to rent bikes in the Big Island. The ocean is 1 mile away and the tourist area is 2-3 miles away, both access through Royal Ponciana Rd. Walmart is 2-3 miles away via the main highway (straight Hwy 11). This home can accommodate five people but it is more suited and more comfortable for four people. I (the owner) prefer only four people. If more than 4 people, please email the owner. The nightly price is for 4 people. Also, HOA rules for ALL residential in this subdivision restrict rentals to a minimum 30-day stay and is preferred. Hawaii GET tax of 4% will be added to the total amount. Cancellation policy for a monthly stay is 1) full refund 45 days prior to intended arrival or if re-booking is made and 2) 50% refund 30 days prior to intended arrival.
