Our air conditioned one bedroom/one bath condo has a king bed, a queen sofa bed, and a pack and play for the baby. It has a fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, and comes with boogie boards, beach chairs, towels, snorkels and fins, and even a surf board for your use. Our air conditioned, quiet, 1 bedroom, 1 bath condo is located across from one of the most beautiful parks and surfing, paddle boarding, swimming, and snorkeling beaches on Maui. Situated in the heart of Kihei, Foodland, restaurants, and gift shops are within easy walking distance. Kihei is a laid back beach town with a pace that will let you relax, clear your head, and just unwind in the beauty of Maui. Our condo is easily accessible with an elevator, and has everything your family needs to make your stay enjoyable with a large flat screen SMART WIFI TV, in-unit washer and dryer, two air conditioners, WIFI, and free high speed cable internet access. Besides a comfy king size bed, we have a pull out queen sofa bed, and a play pen for the little ones. We also have plenty of beach towels, beach chairs, snorkeling equipment, boogie boards, and even a surfboard for your use during your stay. In our complex are 3 pools, and six individually enclosed Plexi-paved championship tennis courts. Racquet and ball rentals are available at the front desk. For golfers, we have three world class courses at Wailea just minutes away. If you are on a budget, you can walk or drive to Foodland and bring groceries back to prepare in your own fully equipped kitchen with a full size refrigerator, oven, microwave, and dishwasher. All dishes, cookware, and utensils are provided free of charge. For those who like to barbecue, there is an easily accessible gas-fired grill that is cleaned every morning for your use. If you want to eat out, there are plenty of great restaurants from fast food to fine dining, all very close. As the sun sets in the evening, you can sit out on the lanai, sipping your favorite beverage or cocktail, and enjoy beautiful views of the island of Kahoolawe, which sits directly across from you. Guest has access to the entire condo. We are available by phone, text, or messages nearly 24 hours per day. Right across the street is Charlie Young Beach and Kamaole I Beach--great places to boogie board or snorkel with the many sea turtles. We are also just a few miles from world class golfing in Wailea. We recommend you rent a car so you can explore all the attractions Maui has to offer, and be sure to download the Shaka Maui app if you would like a self-guided tour to Haleakala Crater or if you plan on driving the winding road to Hana. It's an older condo, but kept up really well, cozy, grounds are beautifully maintained, right across the street from the beach, and they supply you with towels, snorkel gear, boogie boards AND a surfboard, as well as other pool toys and water 'stuff'. There's even a peek-a-boo view of the ocean from the balcony! The location is truly amazing, as you are within walking distance to the beach, restaurants, markets, and more. Be sure to have some fish tacos at Fred's, and go check out what's called "the triangle" area...shops, pubs, restaurants, etc. Such a cool area! I had a few emails with the property manager, Laurie, before our vacation and she was so pleasant and very quick to respond to my questions. And super helpful! Oh, and be sure to spend at least a day at the beach across the street...we were able to swim with a turtle there! As I'm sure you can guess, we would stay there again anytime! 03/20/2020 at 9:55 PM Loved our stay! Great location, quiet, clean-just as advertised! Just as advertised-enjoyed our first trip to Maui and this rental was a perfect home base. It had everything we needed and then some. Within short walking distance of the beach, shopping, restaurants. Loved the view and balcony. We only needed to run the AC in the bedroom at night. As with previous reviews, unit is loud but did not affect our sleep. The grounds of Maui Vista were very well maintained.
