Enjoy the morning sunrise peeking over the horizon and glistening ocean waves. The following House Rules apply to all Guests of Kailua Surf & Sand (the “Host”). Failure to comply with these House Rules may result in additional fees or even removal from the property with no refund for the balance of Guests’ stay. 1. No parties or events allowed. 2. If Guests are found to have had a party or events without the Host’s prior permission, GUESTS MAY BE ASKED TO VACATE THE PROPERTY IMMEDIATELY WITHOUT ANY REFUND FOR THE BALANCE OF GUESTS STAY. 3. Please keep noise to a minimum before 7:00 am and after 10:00 pm. In the event Guests cause a disturbance that results in a citation from police, GUESTS MAY BE ASKED TO VACATE THE PROPERTY IMMEDIATELY WITHOUT ANY REFUND FOR THE BALANCE OF GUESTS STAY. 4. Only the specific Guests noted in the booking are allowed on the property. A violation of this House Rule will result in the immediate removal of all unregistered Guests and visitors from the property without a refund. 5. There shall not be smoking inside the home. Extra cleaning fees to remove odor and stains may be applied. 6. Please wash your dishes after use. If dishes are not washed, extra cleaning fees may be applied. 7. Please return all accessories including but not limited to dishes, utensils, serve ware, pool/beach toys, etc. to their rightful places at the end of your stay. 8. No food or drinks in the bedrooms. 9. Please dispose of all food or drink in the available trash cans. The garbage disposal is for small food remnants only. If the garbage disposal is damaged or clogged by Guests, the Guests will be charged for repair and/or replacement costs. 10. Occasionally, prior guests may leave consumables such as condiments or snacks behind. Ultimately, it is up to the Guests' discretion and inspection to consume these items if they wish. The Host does not take any responsibility for the consumables. 11. The BBQ is to be used by the Guests who stay at the home and is not to invite others to the property as it will be considered as hosting a party or event. Please clean up after yourselves and keep the grill and surrounding area clean. If found left dirty such that it requires extra cleaning, an extra cleaning fee may be required. 12. Please remove shoes and outdoor footwear when inside the house. 13. Please do not rearrange the furniture in the house. 14. Please be respectful of bedding and towels. Makeup/foundation, face medications and tanning products may stain bedding and towels. Please avoid using regular hand/bath towels with all skin products. Please use our provided make-up remover. 15. No pets are allowed on the property. 16. Check out on-time. Any late check-out or early check-in request needs the prior approval of the Host. If Guests do not have such prior approval and either late check-out late or early check-in, causes Host to have to issue a refund/discount to the next or prior guest, as the case may be, Guests will be responsible for any loss of income by the Host. 17. Illegal substances are strictly prohibited. Guests agree that any drug use on the property, or using the property for any unlawful purpose, or violation of any law or ordinance on the property WILL IMMEDIATELY TERMINATE THE GUESTS’ OCCUPANCY AND BE GROUNDS FOR EVICTION. GUESTS SHALL BE LIABLE FOR ANY AND ALL COSTS INCURRED BY HOST AND WILL NOT BE REFUNDED FOR THE BALANCE OF THE GUESTS’ STAY. 18. At the sole discretion of the Host, an additional cleaning fee of up to $500 for the Main Villa or $200 for the Guest Cottage may be charged if additional cleanup is required that goes above the standard cleaning. 19. Guest agrees to pay for any damages caused by Guests that exceed the Guests’ deposit. Any damage made to property or furnishings, which exceed the deposit amount will be billed to Guests. - Private entrance and own beach access - Barbecue area near the swimming pool Quiet residential neighborhood Additional information related to Covid-19: a. Forms Required. All Guests shall be required to sign an Assumption of Risk and Waiver of Liability Relating to Coronavirus/COVID-19 (the “Waiver”). A copy of the (1) Waiver and (2) our Guest Registration form, shall be delivered to the Host prior to the check-in date. In the absence of any of the foregoing information, the Host reserves the right to deny such guest(s) access to the property and no refund will be given unless otherwise expressly permitted. b. No Quarantining on Property. Under no circumstances can Guests stay at the property for the State of Hawaii and/or the City and County of Honolulu 10-day quarantine. c. Cancellation Policy Regarding COVID-19. Due to the evolving nature of the State of Hawaii and/or City and County of Honolulu rules and guidelines for travel to Hawaii, the Host cannot guarantee that travel to Hawaii will be permissible during the period of your booking. Accordingly, if you book a stay with the Host but the State of Hawaii and/or City and County of Honolulu (1) places restrictions on travel to Hawaii and/or places restrictions on vacation rentals, or (2) puts in place rules and requirements such that you elect not to travel to Hawaii, then the Host’s cancellation policy shall still apply and the Host shall not be responsible for any costs or expenses incurred by you in connection with such cancellation (such as airplane tickets, car rental reservations, travel insurance, etc.).
