Welcome to our Pacific island vacation home in the sun Our stylishly remodeled "Honu" (Hawaiian for "turtle") is one of 15 Polynesian style buildings (each with 2 villas) dispersed in a lush tropical resort of over 7 acres known as Poipu Crater. The grounds resemble a botanical garden rather than a typical condo complex, providing a tranquil retreat from any traffic noise and the usual hustle and bustle. Poipu's best beaches and oceanfront pathways are a short stroll away. Our villa is steps to the tennis court and putting green, and we are closest to the large swimming pool suitable for kids and for doing laps. There are plenty of lounge chairs, and often you may have it all to yourselves. The adjacent club house has restrooms and sauna, ping-pong table, cooking facilities (BBQ's) and indoor/outdoor furnished common areas ideal for gatherings with friends-family-guests, rain or shine. A spacious lanai (patio) is a focal point for relaxing with a cocktail or good book, or just soaking in the soothing sounds of the many song birds. Inside there are two levels. Upstairs is exclusively the private master suite with king size bed and full ensuite bath. The main floor has the second bedroom with extra-long twin beds, adjacent the second full bathroom with washer and dryer. A fully stocked kitchen opens to an eating area with in Indonesian woven banana leaf dining set. The living room is two steps down with a flat screen TV and large sofas for lounging or napping If you rent a vehicle to visit the many wonderful sites around Kauai, there is a free reserved parking spot mere steps to our villa along a stair-less path.
