Turtles swim in the water and occasionally pull up onto the beach for a nap at night. Whales frolic in the water beyond the reef, easily visible from the living room and lanai of the unit's high rise position. In a less populated area, stores and eating places are still available nearby, allowing all the advantages of a secluded getaway with few of the inconveniences. Reef protected waters make for great swimming, kayaking, snorkeling, or just playing in the water. Fishing is good, too. Hiking trails and acres of tidal pools beckon the explorers.
