The home includes high-speed wireless internet, two smart TVs, an Apple TV media streamer, a stereo system, and a laundry area with a washer and dryer. The master bedroom includes a king bed, a large closet, and a master bathroom with a double walk-in shower and a private outdoor shower. There is also a separate tv viewing area with a sofa and a second guest bathroom with a walk-in shower. The house is in a small and quiet neighborhood in the countryside, which allows you to be away from the hustle and bustle of the big cities, but still relatively close to major attractions. This allows you to have a unique and fun visit not comparable to a hotel, and lets you experience living the Hawaiian lifestyle. The house is conveniently located near the road to Hana, relatively close to nearby restaurants and shops, and it is easy to drive to other parts of the island. There is a carport with enough space for two cars, and most guests will need a car due to the limited public transportation system. It generally takes about 10 minutes to travel to Ho'okipa beach park and 15 minutes to go to Baldwin beach park. The house is 10 minutes away from the Haiku Town Center, where a grocery store and a few small restaurants are located. The neighboring small towns of Paia and Makawao, which have excellent restaurants, are 15 minutes away. It generally takes 30 minutes to go to the main town of Kahului (where the airport is located), and 1 hour to travel to the towns of Lahaina and Wailea. One dog, a friendly miniature labradoodle, lives inside the hosts' home and will not be at the cottage. Kids are welcome as long as they are supervised by adults, since there is a steep gulch on the edge of the property.
