Full renovated 1930s plantation home w/ amenities of comfort: granite counters, dishwasher, wood floor, dryer, 2 head tiled shower, master bath w/ jet tub, outdoor shower, fenced home creating a mini oasis. Home away from home w/great amenities & fabulous Lana'i sunsets. 2 bdrms- master: king bed w/bath & outside shower access, second bdrm: queen bed, pull-out couch w queen available. Car rental referrals w/booking. $445 INCL: 17.42% TAT & 4.166% GET tax. Permit Number STLA 2017/0002. Aloha! This home is owned by a well known Maui artist - Jordanne (Weinstein) Perkins. She fully renovated the entire home to have wonderful amenities but, still hold the charming plantation era feel. It is an oasis which is fully enclosed by a 6'/8' fence creating a space of quiet and peace. It is double wall insulated to keep out noise. The Master bedroom has a KING bed and a Master Bath with a jet tub/toilet/sink and outdoor shower access. The Guest bedroom has a Queen Bed and a single futon available for use as well. There is also a pull out Queen couch available for use as well. There is a separate laundry room with a stacked washer and dryer. A guest Bathroom with toilet, separate sink, and two headed fully tiled glass door shower. You can swim at Manele Bay (maybe get lucky to swim with the spinner dolphins,) play tennis at the local community tennis courts, golf, attend free water aerobics at the local heated pool, hike the Munroe Trail, drive to different parts of the island such as Polihua Beach, Shipwreck Beach, Garden of The Gods, and then come home and enjoy the rest of the evening in the quiet area of town at the Artists home. Grocery and Retail shopping and local restaurants is a short walk of approx. 5-7 minutes. There is a newly renovated movie theatre that is also a short walk away. Car rentals are available through a referral and is offered in the welcome email after booking. You can have dinner with a short walk to Cafe 565, the Blue Ginger, Lana’i Hotel or Canoe’s or dine at the Artists House fully equipped kitchen. We hope you love your stay in the Artists House with Aloha! There is a two car parking area and a lockbox. Lockbox code will be given in welcome email. There is a property manager on island approximately 5 minutes away if you need anything and is available, besides myself, to discuss anything you might need or want during your stay such as directions, insider places to go, fishing expeditions, car rentals, etc. Rental price is calculated due to the increase of TAT TAX which starting Nov. 1, 2021 will be 13.42% + GET TAX 4.166%. Thank you for your understanding. The neighborhood where the house is located is in the old Japanese section of Lana'i City. It is a quiet neighborhood where the homes are well taken care of. The home has a full fence around it for extra privacy. It also has double wall construction that keeps noise out such as the roosters crow! There is two car parking available on location. A short approx 7 minute walk into Lana'i City gives access to a local heated pool, grocery shopping, retail shopping, restaurants, local tennis courts, newly renovated movie theatre, hikes. 1. The washing machine and dryer are LG. Please note, there is an actual dispenser to pull out to put detergent in. Do NOT place detergent in with clothes. Please shut door firmly; otherwise a very small amount of water can leak out. This isn't a problem, just please if you can , shut the door properly! =) 2. Please take off shoes as this the Hawaiian style and keeps the red dirt out of the home and in beds. House Policies: 1. Quiet hours from 9pm to 8am, during which time the noise from the short-term rental home shall not unreasonably disturb adjacent neighbors. Sound that is audible beyond the property boundaries during non-quiet hours shall not be more excessive than would be otherwise associated with a residential area; 2. Amplified sound that is audible beyond the property boundaries of the short-term rental home is prohibited; 3. Vehicles shall be parked in the designated onsite parking area and shall not be parked on the street; 4. No parties or group gatherings other than registered guests shall occur.
