If our unit was in the hotel rental program, they would classify it as Ocean View in the preferred Waikiki Tower w the larger studios and private step out lanais. This privately managed studio is in the Ala Moana Hotel, and daily housekeeping is not provided. Our guests can still use the pool, sign for towels, use the state of the art fitness center, steam and sauna rooms. The hotel has a mandatory $50 check in fee and $25/daily resort fee & 14.962% tax that they will collect at check in to get the keys at the front desk on the 1st floor. They also offer optional parking at self parking or valet rates Conveniently located! Walk over the hotel ramp & find yourself at Hawaii's largest shopping center, with over 250 stores, restaurants & dining options galore! There is even a post office at the mall, and is the location of the BUS Hub for the entire island. It is in the closest main hotel to the Convention Center and to a huge beach park, popular with visitors & locals alike! It is THE Hotel of choice for many events, such as the Honolulu Marathon, Honolulu Festival, RIMPAC, Car Shows, American Dental Convention, Floating Lantern Festival, Joy of Sake, National College Fair, Wedding Expo, etc. Activities like swimming, snorkling, surfing, stand up & canoe paddling, jogging, tennis, picnic areas are a mere stroll away. Back at the hotel, there is a breakfast buffet and a Starbucks on the lobby level. There are 2 onsite laundry centers w/ coin op washer/dryers & down the hall from our studio is a drink machine, and closest ice machine (& filtered water too) is on 34th flr. Parking is available through the hotel (self or valet charges apply) Our deluxe studio is comfortable, clean & sleeps up to 4 people on the 2 full size beds. Contemporary in design & accessorized with Island elegance in mind, it has a kitchenette with combination convection oven/ microwave appliance, stainless undercounter fridge & coffeemaker. Many kitchenette accessories including service for 4- glasses, mugs, flatware, wine glasses, colander, ceramic baking dish, knives, cutting board, openers, wine pump saver, scissors, chip clips. Starter complimentary beverage station with assorted coffee, teas. We now even have a Brita Water Filter Pitcher for your use! The hotel ice machine also now offers free filtered water, so you can use this pitcher to get already chilled water if you choose! FREE hi speed AND now even Free WIFI INTERNET from the studio (previously $10 / day) & FREE use of the in room SAFE (previously $3/day). Safe can now even hold most laptops! 37"cable TV with lots of newly added stations! A/C, DVD, VCR & CD players, clock radio, iron, board, hair dryer. 8 sets of towels (sign out pool towels if you need additional during your stay, or for a beach or hiking outing. Ample starter supplies of toilet paper, tissue, shampoo, conditioner, liquid soap, body wash & lotion provided. Also a roll of paper towels, dish scrubby & dish soap and starter supply of microwaveable paper plates & bowls for your convenience. We even have beach mats. Your electronic room key gains elevator access and studio entry on the 35th floor, & fitness center on the 3rd floor. We have a smoke alarm & carbon monoxide detector as well as automatic fire sprinkler in our studio. A plug in air purifier also doubles as an emergency flashlight. Departure cleaning fee is now included in the price when booking via ABnb. Owner will collect Hawaii Transient Accommodations Tax and General Excise Tax (14.962%) after booking here. This saves our guests. Reminder Note: Ala Moana Hotel now has a $50 check in fee, a $25/ daily resort fee + 14.962% tax per stay that is charged by the hotel to guest at check in as well as any incidentals such as optional parking, etc. These fees are charges of the hotel and are not included in the room rental & cleaning fees collected for this unit via ABnb. By renting direct from owner, you can save money and still stay at this nice hotel, popular with visitors and locals alike! Free use of Pool, Fitness Center with Steam & Sauna Rooms on 3rd floor. Room Key needed for elevators, Fitness Center access. Sign out pool towels during pool attendant hours, and make sure to return them before check out so you are not charged for them by the hotel. ($25 per) If holding on to towels after 6 pm the day you sign for them, just let the attendant know. Some guests like to sign out pool towels so they can get fresh towels daily and not worry about staining studio towels or have wet towels piling up. Please note that the hotel locks the door to ramp to the mall at 9:30 pm- 7 am. Access back to the hotel during those hours are from the front of the hotel. I like our guests just to relax and enjoy their stay in Hawaii, so if they have questions, they are welcome to call or email me! I leave various notes in the studio to explain anything that may be a bit confusing otherwise, as well as suggestion booklet I put together for ideas while here. Our studio is located in the main Hotel closest to the Hawaii Convention Center and right next to the largest shopping center in Hawaii. Also about 12 min walk to the ocean at the huge Ala Moana Beachpark nearby. Great bus system right next door at the largest shopping center in Hawaii! This location is the HUB of the system, and is only $3 per ride/ or about double for a day pass. (Pls check if rates still current) I have bus schedules in our studio for our guests to borrow. There are also trolley buses that you can buy daily or weekly passes. Taxis /Uber & Lyft are other options if you don't want to rent a car & pay to park at the hotel ($25/self parking per day or $30/day for valet). There are also many Biki Bike stations (including some not far from the hotel) and all over Honolulu for zipping about the city as well! We want our guests to get their security deposit back in full! If you've left stains on towels or linens, simply spot clean with soap & cold water.
