Queen sized bed, closet with shelves and space to hang clothes. There is a red sofa that unfolds into a comfortable and firm twin bed for the third person. Hair dryer included. Includes free WiFi, use of pool and barbecue area in the building (on the 5th floor). No parking (cheap parking nearby). Laundry on the 5th floor (need credit card). Interaction with guests is minimal, only as requested. We are available by phone for any tips and recommendations about visiting the islands. Location, location, location and a nice, comfortable and clean place to stay . In Waikiki and very close to main Ave. Kalakaua (half a block). Two blocks from Convention Center. Two blocks from Ala Moana Shopping Center. One block and half from the beach. 50 yards to Hilton Hawaiian Village. Transportation and parking info: From the airport to Waikiki it takes about 25 minutes by car, depending on traffic. By Bus: The Bus #19, #20 (no big bags allowed, only carry-on). You could also take a shuttle bus from the airport provided by Roberts Hawaii. You can meet them at the baggage claim. The cost is $16 per person per way. A taxi will cost around $45 per way so if you ask me I rather take a taxi than the shuttle service. Uber and Lift are other options with prices similar than a taxi. Another option is to rent a car. Parking: There is a loading/unloading zone in front of the lobby for 10 minutes ONLY! For parking garage: -There is overnight parking only in the building at about $20 a night. Please check with security on premises. -United Parking Services at 1910 Ala Moana Blvd ( next door) Gate is open from 6AM ~ 11PM. $15 for 24 hrs (no in and out privileges) -short term rate also available in the same, depending how many hours you would like to park : 3 hours for $4, 3~5 hours for $5, all day for $7 (up to 5PM), Evening Rates for $6 from 5PM ~ 6AM. -On the first corner to the right of the building is Wailana parking garage for $21 whole day with in and out privileges. -There is meter parking on Ena Road (behind condo; free 6PM to 6AM, strictly enforced) as well as free 24 hs parking along the Ala Wai canal about three blocks away. -Behind Ilikai hotel and or Hilton Hawaiian Village 2 blocks away there is the Ala Wai Yacht Harbor parking for $1.00 an hour. -RENT-A-CAR: Rent a car is just two blocks away from our condo (Alamo, Enterprise, National/Nwaiippon Rent-A- Car). - Getting around the island by bus: The Bus service in Honolulu voted many times the best in the country. Bus stop located close to the building (couple of minutes walk) - various routes stopping there which will take you to Ala Moana Shopping Center where you can connect to other routes and continue your travel around the island. The Bus app also available for your smart phone. The world famous Waikiki is the tourist district in the city of Honolulu on the island of Oahu. It’s a developed area with all the necessities that a traveler might have. Hotels, restaurants, shops and yes, the beach are very close to the apartment.
