Beautiful, peaceful, jungle vibes, surrounded by nature, 15 min from the center of Kona, up on the mountainside, lush lot w/ fruit and mac nut trees! The ADULTS-ONLY space has an open floorplan, with high ceilings and lots of room. Luxury memory foam King bed, two front lanais, nice Weber grill, big Samsung TV with cable, Wifi, shared washer and dryer, and a great kitchen with all the amenities. Also: beach towels, chairs, cooler, & umbrella! This Private space is the largest unit of the home. This is my little slice of heaven that I put a lot of love into! I still have to pinch myself when I wake up here… I travel a lot and want to share this mountain sanctuary experience with fellow travelers. There are two other units, as well as my personal space above the garage, but everyone has their own private entrance and privacy. I live here most of the time and hardly ever run into the other guests. This unit is not suitable for babies or kids, it’s an old home with exposed outlets and cables on the floor, breakable valuable items & decorations, and noise can be heard by neighboring units. Thank you for understanding! Macadamia nuts, avocados, papayas, lemons, lychee (when in season), Kale, etc. are free for the taking! There’s a heavy-duty mac nut cracker waiting for you to get cracking. You’ll find them all over the yard. This is truly a country Hawai’i experience, and a great central location to call home-base while you explore the rest of the island. I provide Coffee & tea, and for those coffee enthusiasts, there are many plantations close by to tour! Your unit provides plenty of ways to brew: Pour-over, french press, Bialetti Stove-top or regular drip coffee pot. Disclosure: The fireplace is non-working at the moment, sorry about that!! But you won’t be needing it anyway... it’s pretty warm here. It can get cool at night so bring a sweater! Please see the parking guide in your check-in instructions, and make sure to follow the written directions as well as the photo-guide so you find the place and correct unit! :) Call, email or text for anything!! Holualoa is a charming little town on the slope of Hualalai Mountain! It hosts an eclectic artist community, with small studios and galleries bunched together within walking distance. There are lots of fruit frees and beautiful tropical foliage lining it's winding country road overlooking Kailua-Kona. The beach and the center of Kona are only 10-15 minutes away with endless options! Holualoa Kitchen is a mile up the street and has great coffee, food and pastries! You definitely need a rental car! We do have Uber and Lyft in Kona but because it is such a quiet island, they may not be available at odd times of the day. We are surrounded by nature up here!! That means, we have coqui frogs and crickets that begin their choir practice around sunset and through the night... and sometimes when the sun comes up, the roosters like to announce the day for us! It's all a part of the Hawaii country experience! I hardly notice it and the frog/cricket chorus tends to sing me to sleep... but if you need, I provide ear plugs ;)
