Beaches entire west side. Hike nearby mountain for more sunsets. At end of well-maintained complex, private back yard for grilling. Fully equipped kitchen with spices, oils. Beach equipment, linens, paper products, toiletries provided. 15 min drive to Kapolei shop/dine/movie district, 1hr to Waikiki. Our guests love the Hawaiian hand carved displayed throughout the main floor.. Realtors have told us it looks like a model home. We love to cook, so our kitchen is well equipped! The master bedroom is a favorite of guests. It is an oasis with a small table and chairs for a romantic breakfast with a view of the canal and mountains. There is a large en suite walk in shower, all toiletries provided! The townhome is two stories, two units in the building. Neighbors are great! Since the complex is 75% owner-occupied, it is well cared for and people look out for one another. There is only one entrance to the complex and it is surrounded by a seawater canal (right behind our back yard). Guests have the full use of the townhome, with the exception of the storage closet under the stairs, which is locked. We stock all basic spices, oils, vinegar, flour, sugars and other baking supplies. There are condiments in the refrigerator. A bag of Kauai coffee beans awaits your first pot of coffee. All we ask is that you pass on the aloha welcome by replacing something if you use the last of it. Guests also have full use of pool/kiddie pool/hot tub/party area. Keys to pool area are provided. Guests also have private backyard equipped with grill (supplies provided). There is also a lanai (deck) off the living area for outdoor dining. We are happy to assist however we can via e-mail. We try to answer all e-mails promptly. (Please allow for time zone differences!) Should a problem arise at the townhome, we have people close by to help. We know the island, so just ask if there is something particular you are interested in doing! Our townhome is in a newer, well-manicured and maintained complex surrounded on three sides by mountains and a seawater canal on the west. The ocean is .3 mile walk and the sunsets there are fabulous! There are usually surfers there to watch, as well! West side beaches are all along the coast, have lifeguards and changing houses/restrooms. The Pokai Beach is a five minute drive and is particularly good for swimming as it has a breakwater that keeps the surf down. All of the beaches have magnificent views!! If you’re lucky, you’ll see the whales jumping! Our townhome owns two parking places right by the building! We are a 15 minute drive to the Disney Water Park as well as the large Kapolei shopping/dining/multiplex theaters. Waikiki is a 50 minute drive and offers that big city feel with many attractions. There is also The Bus with a stop .3 mile walk from townhome. Buses run 24 hours and will take you all over the island with a one day pass! Or if you choose to drive to the other sides of the island, the roads travel through beautiful countryside! Guests are reminded to keep noise levels outside down after 10pm.
