Great stop when exploring the island in Oceanview right in the middle of kona and Hilo ***Please have peace of mind you will be safe at our ohana*** Have a nice stay at our home and enjoy the Big Island! Much aloha Lisa and Justin Panoramic view of the ocean on 6 1/2 acres of amazing landscaping next to a wild life reserve. We have Guava , papaya, liliko’i vines, banana jam, coffee trees, coffee roasting house, adult swing set to watch the sunset, cooking fire pits and more. We have many geckos, Jacksons , many species of birds that sing in the morning. Our internet is Hawaii telecom package fiber 500- 300Mbps up to 15 devices. All of our recent guest have been working from home via telecom and have had no problems. Please remove shoes before entering unit, fungus grease, dirt can be spread into the ohana and is considered on the islands to disrespectful to home owners. I clean my rentals my self and use Clorox with bleach on every surface. I wipe off using Clorox, doorknobs, corners of walls, sink and toilet handles, toilet, fan chains, flooring. I spend three hours each time a guest checks out to make sure my space is clean and safe. Even before the corona epidemic I have always made sure my Ohana was nice and clean . I wash all linens, bed spreads and towels in hot water for a good night sleep and fresh shower. Please Keep clean! I have a bottle of Clorox cleaner in bathroom and in the kitchen under the sinks for guest to use also. Please do not throw away empty bottles of cleaner, hand soap bring them to me and I will refill them. The living room has carpet and I go over it with shampoo machine adding a little Clorox to the solution. I make sure my ohana is stocked with soaps, toilet paper, cleaners. We offer self check in. I leave the doors unlocked for guests. The house rules and key to the slider is on the kitchen table. Please know you are safe staying at our Ohana! Unfortunately we are not accepting animals in our unit. *Quite, peaceful and beautiful. Ohana located separate from owners main house on 6 1/2 acres of land adjacent to five hundred acres of land with wild life. We have full size fridge, bbq, stove…what ever your cooking needs we probably have just ask. Two good sized bedrooms, one bedroom has its own sink for washing face and brushing teeth. We are located between mile marker 80 and 79. We are at 1600 elevation which makes for a nice temperature not too hot or too cold. We have a great view of the ocean and amazing star gazing. Additional private seating area by a beautiful Ohio tree to look at ocean. Flower gardens, outdoor sitting space to eat. Smart tv with Roku, and Alexa for questions and music. We also have an additional rental one bedroom with queen bed and couch pull out with its own private entrance and carport connected to main house. It is listed on Airbnb as Moana view suite. * ***My barber and salon is located in the building with its own separate entrance on the right side of the building. I wait until 9am to do a hair client, usually one or two people per week. Unless it is a holiday I may have few more clients. My clients take a half hour or less each to get done.*** *I am always upgrading our property and doing some kind of project, I do wait until you wake up or by 9:00am and I stop on or before 10pm.* ***if your stay is more than seven days I may ask to enter unit on Fridays (laundry day) to bring in fresh towels and bedding and inspect . On demand water heater, If you notice the hot water is not working please contact me through message on Airbnb and I will come out to help*** *** long term stay rules : 1. please do not leave any food or food crumbs out for ants 2. If you are having guests you need to contact me and let me know out of respect on who is coming on to my property. 3. Keep my unit clean, vacuumed, stove and all cooking appliances wiped down at all times after use including bbq and outdoor space. 4. Communicate if any thing needs fixing or needs attention. 5. If you are gone off the property more than two days please let me know right away before you leave. *We are on catchment and feed into the grid with solar, which means when it rains we get water in our tanks. The tanks run off a water pump so if you flush the toilet and try to get right in the shower the water pressure with have to build up. It only takes a few seconds for the pump to kick in so give it a second. Solar means if the sun is out we have lots of power with nineteen solar panels feeding into the grid. Please make sure you turn off all power, lights fans ext.. before leaving for the day the whole property shares the solar. Thank you so much.* *To insure you get settled in and have a great stay with us, we have provided five gallons of drinking water, one roll of toilet paper per person, one roll of paper towels, shampoo, hand soap, dish soap, cleaning spray for kitchen and bathroom in our Ohana. Please use what you need and leave the rest. This may not be enough for your entire stay and you may have to purchase additional supplies. Our Ohana, gardens, outdoor seating, star gazing area, (note...download app SkyView lite), cooking fire pit area, adult swing, lfeel free to lounge wherever you please. There is a secret garden to the left of the ohana for relaxing and private viewing of the ocean. Tea is provided also coffee maker to prepare yourselves. Lisa and Justin live on property. Feel free to ask about the area and any questions you have. We are very friendly and have knowledge of the island. Our home is located on 6 1/2 acres with beautiful gardens. In the morning we have all types of birds singing and saying good morning! On occasion The mouflon sheep and wild turkeys will make their way through the property in the early morning. The sunset view over the ocean is amazing, and stargazing is incredible! We suggest to download SkyView Light app for star gazing. If you enjoy hiking there is Pohue bay located right below us, Manuka Park, local beaches, Kula Kia caverns for a tour of lava tubes. The southernmost part of the United States (Southpoint) is a short drive with stops of local honey, Mac nut, coffee tasting on the way, also The greensand beach is the located there. We have a local farmers market on Saturdays, two grocery stores, gift shop, café, pizza and bakery shops, KailoKi’s restaurant. We are located in between Kona and Hilo which gives you more time to see more of that island. Mahalo Car or Jeep, Turo is a car share site, they have reasonable prices. We do have boogie boards, beach chairs, snorkeling gear, beach towels, and coolers for you to borrow. We do have a paddle board and rack for you to rent for $30 dollars a day. I will help load it for you. We also have an additional apartment with private entrance to a one bedroom with queen size bed located in main house with a pull out couch sleeps four, available. It has a full kitchen, full bathroom with small indoor shower, with full cooking needs. Take advantage of double booking with Moana view apartment.
