The Plantation Room is one of 5 different units at the Wailuku Guesthouse, licensed in 2000. Centrally located, exploring the island is easy from this area, and is in walking distance to restaurants, a coffee shop, and other amenities. Need a car? WE have a 2020 Nissan Versa SV that gets great gas mileage. Let us know if you would like the link. Relax at the Wailuku Guesthouse and ask for our rental car too. We are a legally operating vacation rental with a current County of Maui operating permit. Be sure that wherever you book has one. The Plantation Room is a king room upstairs,private bath (tub and shower), A/C and ceiling fan, room also includes a refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker ( we supply Hawaiian coffee and teas) saltwater pool, 2 dining tables poolside under hardwood cabanas, lots of lounge chairs for sunning poolside, beach chairs, coolers, an assortment of snorkel gear, beach towels, WIFI and parking included. Room is decorated with Hawaiian touches. Conveniently located near beaches, airport (4 miles away), and walking distance to Old Wailuku Town. The Plantation room is one of the 5 guestrooms at the Wailuku Guesthouse on the beautiful island of Maui. Guests can expect fresh towels every other day. Wailuku town is the old county seat of Maui and just 2 blocks walking distance to a handful of nice shops and little restaurants. The famed Iao Needle is just 3 miles up the road. We are also situated one block from the Maui public bus. All our guests will find a clean, comfortable and affordable guestroom when they stay at the Wailuku Guesthouse of Maui. Maureen is also a great hostess and a plethora of knowledge about the island and attractions. Must be 21 years or older. Covid- 19 restrictions in place. All checkins will be contactless.All guest rooms have directions to their rooms and access to their keys in a lock box near their room as soon as they provide the results of the preflight testing program for safe travel to Maui county. Masks are required in all common areas areas as well as in all public places in Hawaii. We are always reachable by phone/text messages. No restrictions as of 3-26-22 NO Covid- 19 restrictions in place. Our neighborhood is like an older Hawaiian town. Wailuku is after all, the county seat of Maui. It's a walking town too. Just two blocks up there are an assortment of shops, eateries and boutiques. Six tennis courts are around the corner. They are free and lit at night. The islands best macaroons are found down the street at Maui Macaroons and Artisan Market. Public transportation is just a block up on Wells Street. The bus is $2. Taxis from the airport run about $25 plus a tip of $3-$5. Since we often have little guests on our property we have carabiners that latch all of our gates. We ask that guests replace them after passing through a gate. (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN). Do you need a car? WE rent our 2020 Nissan Versa to guests only.
