Our mission is to provide wonderful accommodations so our guests can create beautiful experiences and unforgettable Maui memories at Romantic Bliss. ~ This air conditioned, upper floor, 500 SF Studio is spacious, comfortable, peaceful, uncluttered, and full of light. The vaulted ceiling adds an open and airy feeling. ~ There is an extra thick, Queen size Memory Foam Mattress that was purchased for $1899. The mattress is super plush and extra comfortable, it is on a Murphy Bed. There is also a Queen size sofa sleeper. ~ This unit is extra special because it is one of the only units in the complex that has a double lanai (deck patio) spanning two full lengths of the condo. There are also additional windows, plus all the floors are tiled. ~ From the extremely spacious lanai, you will overlook the entrance to the complex and parking area and have views of the on-site tennis court, the colorful courtyard with plenty of vegetation and tropical flowers, a very clean swimming pool complete with an outdoor shower area, an extra large jacuzzi, outdoor restrooms, plenty of gas grills, and even picnic tables. There are separate sitting areas on your lanai (outdoor deck) for you to enjoy. ;) ~ Other amenities inside the condo include keyless entry, beach towels, beach chairs, bath towels, tennis rackets and tennis balls for two adults, a cooler, a beach umbrella, an iron and ironing board, a laundry basket on wheels, a folding luggage rack, and even a First Aid Kit. We have cable TV. We offer a DVD player and many DVD movies to choose from that are all genres. We also offer family games, a CD player, and Maui guidebooks. ~ Your condo is within walking distance (less than 1 mile) from grocery stores, churches, restaurants, shopping, a gym, nightclubs, the post office, Fed Ex, medical facilities, hair and nail salons, and even banks/ATMs. For added convenience, the bus stop is just steps away from your front door. ~ Your daily price includes free parking, free WIFI, air conditioning, and a 32" Samsung Smart Flat Screen HDTV which also allows internet viewing. ~ There is also a Blu-ray HD DVD player, lots of DVDs provided, 2 ceiling fans, a stocked kitchen with appliances, a Brita water filtration system, plenty of cookware, plus lots of extras like a blender, coffee maker, toaster, a teakettle, a microwave, and even a hair dryer. Please note, there is not a dishwasher inside the condo and we do not provide coffee. ~ Lots of personal and professional touches have been used as well to enhance the Island atmosphere and we have even proudly partnered up with a local vendor offering Maui activities, adventures, and experiences at incredibly low and affordable prices, saving our guests even more money. In addition, we provide "starter kit" supplies in the bathroom and the main kitchen. Upon arrival, you will find 2 fresh rolls of toilet paper and 1 fresh roll of paper towels for the kitchen. This will be enough to get you "started". Our goal by providing "starter kits" for household paper products is to prevent the necessity for you to have to shop for these items during your first couple of days in paradise; after all, you are on vacation. There is also a "Pay It Forward" shelf where guests are welcome to leave their unused, non-perishable grocery items. ~ COVID-19 Cleaning Precautions: Please know that we have enhanced both our cleaning routine and our cleaning methods to offer extra protection for our arriving guests. Due to the coronavirus, we’re taking extra care to not only clean but to also disinfect frequently touched surfaces and frequently touched household items between each reservation. We have allotted extra time and extra cleaners to complete these tasks to lower the risk of infection. We are using cleaning products and household disinfectants that are recommended as being effective against the coronavirus. We are also paying special attention to frequently touched surfaces like keyless entry pads, light switches, doorknobs, remote controls, microwave buttons, faucets, toilets, and kitchen appliance handles. ~ The complex is located in North Kihei. The condo is directly across the street (about 250 footsteps) from the OCEAN, Kalepolepo Beach, Kalepolepo Park with tables and outdoor showers, the Hawaiian Islands Humpback Whale National Marine Sanctuary, and the ancient Menehune fish pond. ~ Kalepolepo Beach Park also offers easy access to great beach walks, kiteboarding, swimming, romantic sunset views, and incredible whale watching. ~ After booking Romantic Bliss, please consult your local insurance provider about the benefits of travel insurance. ~ Daily maid service and/or mid stay cleans are available for an additional fee. Kihei Food Oasis at South Maui Gardens is just a couple miles south on South Kihei Road and Alahele Street. With daytime temperatures ranging from roughly 85 degrees F during the winter, it's easy to see why Maui is such a popular destination choice and the #1 island in the world. Here’s why I think the South side of the island (where Kihei is located) is the best place to stay. South Maui really has it all! ;) The sunny South shores of Kihei offer 6 miles of popular, sun kissed beaches with warm, balmy days and cool, tropical nights. Typically, humidity levels in Kihei are VERY LOW and the annual rainfall in Kihei is LESS than anywhere else on island. :) Kihei is a sizable beach town with plenty of places to eat and fun things to do. Kihei is definitely the hub for Maui surf lessons and is considered the true pivoting point for all of Maui’s popular outdoor activities. Most of the accommodation options in Kihei will be condos with full kitchens (enabling you to save even more money if you choose to cook a couple meals at home). Kihei is definitely less crowded and more affordable than the West side. The beaches in Kihei are more plentiful, also less crowded, and quite a bit more accessible than those on the West side. You will definitely find more parking and better marked beaches in South Maui. In addition, most of the beaches in Kihei can be seen right from the road and Kihei offers totally free parking unlike the West side. ;) Kihei is closer to Haleakala (hiking), the road to Hana, Iao Valley, and the airport than the West side. Kihei is more private, intimate, and affordable than the West side. Kihei is also closer to Paia, Makawao, Upcountry, Kahului, and Maalaea than the West side. Kihei has the least amount of rain of anywhere on Island and is more laid back. It is not only drier but it is also sunnier. ;) Kihei Boat Ramp is only a couple of miles from the condo. There are numerous snorkel and dive excursions that launch from this popular boat ramp every single morning offering options that include exploring the coral reefs at Molokini or swimming with the turtles at Turtle Town. The only beach in Maui that used to be reserved for Hawaiian Royalty is directly across the street from the condo (less than 300 footsteps from your front door). It is a very popular beach for canoeing, kite surfing, viewing sea turtles and whales, or simply basking in the sun. Picnic tables, grilling areas, free parking, and outdoor showers are all available at the beach across the street. Do as much as you want or as little as you desire. ;) ~ The National Humpback Museum and Whale Education Center for Maui is just steps away (directly across the street from the condo). They offer free educational classes and plenty of free, outdoor telescopes so you can get an up close and personal view of the Humpback Whales swimming and jumping in the ocean just in front of the museum. The longest beach walk in all of Maui is in Kihei (within 2 blocks from the condo). Within a few miles from the condo you will also discover additional white sand beaches, fun ocean activities, several parks, loads of restaurants, groceries, shopping, banks, ATM machines, live entertainment, skate parks, basketball, tennis, and volleyball courts, surfing, snorkeling, kayaking, diving, yoga centers, the Kihei Town Shopping Center, the Kihei Boat Ramp, Farmer’s Markets, dance clubs, live music, nightclubs/bars, Craft Fairs, and even several open-air Maui Marketplaces. Hop in the car at the condo for a very short drive (less than six miles) to three, world class, championship golf courses as well as the popular and breathtaking Wailea resort area offering upscale shopping, incredible sightseeing, and romantic dining options. Higher end resorts like Four Seasons, Andaz, Grand Wailea, and Kealani are all in Wailea which is just 5 miles South of Kihei. Wailea also has an award winning spa at the Grand Wailea (best spa in Maui). Wailea is a resort community just south of Kihei that includes several mega beachfront resorts, some nice condo complexes, world class restaurants, and an upscale outdoor mall. The whole area is extremely lush and artistically manicured and looks just like the Hawaii of your dreams. When I’ve driven people down to Wailea after seeing other parts of the island, they’ve said “now THIS is truly PARADISE and what I envisioned all of Maui to look like.” To me, Wailea is the epitome of luxury. ;) The Shops at Wailea is the nicest shopping center in Maui and it is only 5 miles away from the condo (very upscale). A few more miles South in the car and you will discover the world renowned Makena area, where many famous people choose to reside. Lahaina and Ka’anapali (West side) are a one hour drive from the main airport, and Kihei is only 15 minutes. In addition, the condo is only 9 miles away from the main airport in Kahului. ;) Finally, worth mentioning, is the fact that there is only “one road in and one road out” for the West side of the Island. When that road gets shut down due to a car accident, you will be trapped for hours and hours (sometimes even overnight). This is one more reason why I always choose Kihei over the West side. :) Maui has been voted the "Best Island in the World" for over 23 years. Hawaii is absolutely paradise, and arguably, one of the most gorgeous states in the country. The islands have it all – pristine beaches, phenomenal sunsets, striking waterfalls, and majestic mountains. It is no wonder why so many visitors flock to the islands. I recommend renting a car in Maui because there is a lot to see and do in Paradise. :) HAPPY to offer totally FREE onsite parking at the complex for Romantic Bliss. Guests will have full access to free parking anywhere at the condo complex! There is also a swimming pool, jacuzzi, bbq area, tennis court, outdoor showers and restrooms, outdoor bicycle and kayak storage racks, and a laundry center all on site. :) We also have “Maui Bus”. ~ The “Maui Bus” doesn't go everywhere and isn't as convenient. If you do choose the bus as your primary source of transportation, there is a bus stop within a couple steps from the entrance to the condo complex . :) Although taxis, Lyft, and Uber are readily available on the Island, they tend to be quite spendy. Almost all of our bookings are back to back (same day in, same day out) which makes things trickier. If you have a late flight out or an early flight in, we highly recommend that you consider booking an extra night if it’s available to better accommodate your flight schedule if you want to arrive early or depart late.
