Great location which is close to downtown and only 1 mile from a great snorkeling area. Only 37 units so very peaceful. Keauhou Shopping Center is close by and has an upscale KTA market. Farmers Market there on Saturday mornings. Arrive early for the best choice of fish and produce. Trolley stops on street in front of condo. $2/one way to Kailua Kona (north) and to shopping center - 1.5 miles south. Bike Share location across the street. Taxis are available as well. Not sure about Uber. There is no AC. We have installed two ceiling fans and have some floor fans which keep condo comfortable. Temperature is pretty moderate but it helps to clean drapes closed when you're gone during the day. The sand at Magic Sands Beach comes and goes with the tide. Sometimes it's a beautiful sandy beach and the next day the waves could have washed all the sand to the sea.
