ALOHA to you from Maui, Hawaii ! Come share our piece of Paradise: enjoy the Sunshine and Warm Ocean Waters of Maui; be awed by the majestic views from the lanai of the islands of Molokai and Lanai We are in Kahana which is 5 miles from Whaler's Village in Ka'anapali and 6 miles from Lahaina which is the downtown area. Lots of restaurants and shopping in both areas. Kapalua, 3 miles north of us, has lovely hiking trails. The 2017 and 2018 WINTER STORMS has caused some beach erosion. . OCEANFRONT STUDIO MAUI VACATION RENTAL You can create beautiful memories of your visit to Maui and your stay in our condo. There is a Queen size "MURPHY BED" that pulls down from the wall and you can sleep to the sound of waves. The couch is a Queen size sofa sleeper in case each guest wants their own bed. We only book 2 guests. There are lots of activities for everyone!!! Fun in the sun on any of the beaches in the area!! Snorkeling near the Sheraton Black Rock or at the Napili Kai Beach – both are free. Or you can take a paid snorkeling tour to the island of Molokini!! Wonderful experience!! Kapalua which is 4 miles north of us has  Bogey boarding at the D.T. Fleming Beach  Golfing at Plantation course and Bay course, both of which are challenging and beautiful!!  Restaurants and Hiking and Ziplining for the adventurous. Hotels in Maui are cold, cookie cutter and pricey. Our condo is affordable and has advantages for the budget-conscious!!! You can Bar-B-Q your personalized meals downstairs by the pool, shop at the closest grocery store, Times Market, or at Safeway in Lahaina. We have a Farmer’s Market 3 times a week within walking distance where you can get fresh papayas, pineapple and lots of fresh baked goodies. The condo is on the 6th floor and has a full kitchen. The couch is a Queen size sofa sleeper in case each guest wants their own bed WE HAD A LOVELY SANDY BEACH TILL THE 2017 AND 2018 WINTER STORMS, RAIN AND HIGH SURF HAS ERODED SOME OF OUR BEACH. SANDBAGS HAVE BEEN INSTALLED TO CONTAIN FURTHER EROSION. (See pictures) The condo is oceanfront and you have BREATHTAKING views of the ocean and the island of Molokai from the condo and the lanai. UPDATE ON BEACH: There is a path from the side of where the sandbags are that you can use to get on the sand and walk south to enjoy beach area. The sand comes back and in summer we have a lovely sandy beach again. We are working with several other projects in the Kahana area to come up with a permanent solution so that our sandy beaches remain sandy all the time. It now appears that the new norm is a nice sandy beach most of the time between April and October, and little or no beach more likely to be the case when the winter storms and high surf move in. The building is not air-conditioned, but fans and ocean breezes provide cross ventilation thru the unit. UPDATE ON REBUILDING OF GYM: The frame is nearing completion. In the interim, you walk to the left from the parking lot and enter the high rise building. The ramp takes you to the elevator and the condo is on the 6th floor. The entire condo is for you to enjoy. Watch sunset from the lanai over a cocktail or glass of wine!!! There are bar-b-q's near the pool for your use . You can relax by our pool with a book and a nice cool drink and in the evening join the “Sundowners” who come to blow conches at sunset. If you decide to go out for lunch or dinner, there are restaurants in our neighborhood and lots of restaurants at the Whaler’s Village in Ka’anapali or Lahaina or Kapalua. Your trip won’t be complete without a Luau and there are several offered in Kaanapali and Lahaina. Our favorites are "Old Lahaina Luau” and “Feast at Lele” Let us know what activities interest you and we can send you more information on them. Across the street there is Dolly's restaurant which has lovely pizza, a Miso Phat sushi restaurant, Boss Frog's where you can rent snorkels, bogey boards, etc. and also a store where you can rent baby cribs, etc. Kitty corner to us behind the gas station is a Mcdonald's, Maui Brewing company and a lovely coffee shop. You can park anywhere in the parking lot and get a sticker from the front office. The front office is open from 8 am to 5 pm M- F and 8 am to 9 pm on weekends. There is a public bus that stops right outside our building and you can pick up the latest schedule from the front office.
