Private and peaceful! Papaya, avocado, and citrus are grown on this one acre retreat. A short walk to beautiful Waianapanapa State Park. There is access to hiking on the spectacular "King's Trail", and a beautiful black sand beach. This property is legally permitted. This is comfortable Two bedroom and two bathroom cottage. The living room has a couch, elephant bamboo chairs and big screen satellite TV. A nice night time entertainment after long days hiking, site seeing and playing at the beach. The yard is a great place to wander and check out the different tropical plants and fruit trees. The property area is easily defined by rock walls and plantings. The garage is for the property owners use only. There is a carport so guests can stay dry while unloading their car. I am available to guests by phone or email. I have a caretaker who lives only ten minutes from the property. She is easily available if needed. The neighborhood is made up of one half acre lots or more. this makes it very private and gives it more of a rural feel with all the amenities of living in town. The cottage is only a 10 minute drive from the small Hana airport. It is around a seven minute drive to the center of Hana town. There is public water and an Reverse Osmosis system in the kitchen for drinking water. We have solar hot water with electric back up for rainy days. The solar heated water can get hot so be aware with small children for bathing.
