Stay in a beautiful 16ft Mongolian loft Yurt right by world famous Sunset Beach. This Yurt is built above ground on solid pine decking, the loft houses a Queen bed which allows you to look out at the stars through the big clear dome in the center of the roof. Natural light floods in during the day & below the loft is a couch area with a hanging lounge chair, AC unit and mini fridge. The inside is decorated & built with many unique touches to make your stay one of a kind! Located in the heart of the north shore, this Yurt is surrounded by a lush little jungle of tropical plants and lots of outdoors space amid a friendly and safe neighborhood and just a super short walk to the beach! The Yurt is completely private (not a shared space) inside a one acre gated property with 24 hour surveillance cameras. located right by sunset beach. This place is Ideal for couples, artists, solo adventurers and anyone looking to relax in a unique setting and experience life on the North Shore! The property is very secure, upon arrival you will receive a clicker to open the gate, apart from a few other rental units the property is also home to a well renowned jiujitsu/yoga dojo. The Yurt is located in a corner of the property and is surrounded by a little private garden space where you can listen to birds in the morning and crickets at night. There is also a shared outside food preparation area (sink, microwave, common dish ware available for your use) you also have your own little private table/sitting area in the garden behind the Yurt. Nothing too fancy but still a nice place to relax. If you choose to walk around, the front yard has a small surf check deck where u can hang out and look at the ocean without stepping off the property, we also have outdoor beach showers and I’ve put a little charcoal grill by the yurt if u want to BBQ. Surf and yoga instructors are also available on call if you decide to take a lesson. :) Most of my guests decide to do a simple self check in but I’m always happy to help if anything comes up or if there are any random questions like where to eat or hike:) In general I like to give my guests space to relax and unwind and do their own thing! Amazing beaches, incredible hikes, a bike path that stretches for several miles to some of the most beautiful beaches in the world and all within a friendly and safe community, and lots and lots of food trucks! Renting a car is realistically the best way to get around, especially if you are short on time and want to see a lot of the island. You may be able to find a Uber or lyft once you are out here but I don’t recommend it as the prices are generally very high. Alternatively there are many accessible bus stops that can take you all around the island. Buses stop roughly once every 30min. Or you can choose to slow it down and ride down the bike-path around the north shore. it passes right by our property stretching for several miles and its always a really nice way to get around and explore the many nearby beaches! Please keep in mind that yurts are unique building structure and not a normal hotel room type setting. Please read through the description and check out the photos to know what to expect and feel free to ask me any questions. - The bathroom is shared and kept in clean conditions. It's not connected to the yurt but its only about a 15 sec walk from the front door. Not far but I figured its worth clarifying. You have a mini fridge in the Yurt but there is not a full kitchen available, we do provide a outside sink, microwave, coffee maker and common dish-ware in a common area nearby. Most visitors realistically decide to eat out at the many food trucks and local spots. Lots of options nearby, everything from spicy Thai food to cold Acai smoothies! — :)
