Private and Spacious studio suite in quiet residential area. The property is located on the North Shore of Kauai and is minutes away from the enchanting town and beautiful beaches of Hanalei. Princeville is a quiet and well kept neighborhood. The suite is located on a property which is a bit more unique, in that it is surrounded by a tropical rainforest and a stream. You will not be able to see neighbors from the suite, which is perfect if you want to be on a romantic Hawaiian getaway. There are also easy to difficult hikes you can take from the suite to the ocean. The location can let you feel as if you are on a beautiful deserted island, but you won't have to make your own fire to cook lizards (that will taste like chicken) or figure out how to crack open a coconut... because Foodland is just 1 mile away. Kauai is perfect for people who enjoy daytime activities and seeing magnificent rainbows. We have a variety of beach and ocean gear. You will have access to surfboards, standup boards, body boards, snorkel gear, beach chairs, towels, umbrella, cooler, fishing poles, skateboards... please let us know prior to your visit what activities your interested so we can have what you need there. You will have your own parking spot on the left side of the driveway, that will be reserved only for you. The suite is located on the back left side of the main house. You will have your own private yard and entrance to the suite. You can come and go any time of day or night... the house is well built and sound proof. When we are on island we enjoy personally meeting our guest and do our best to be available via text and telephone. Princeville is part of an association, with pretty strict expectations for how home owners are to maintain their properties. I never thought I'd be one who would choose to live in an "association," but I have to say... driving through beautifully manicured neighborhoods with no old cars, doorless refrigerators, and/or busted and rusted washer machines cluttering up the front lawn... ain't bad! The neighborhood is beautiful and safe. EASY... the suite is close to everything or nothing - which ever you prefer. Kauai is beautiful. There are times of the year when there may be a rain shower or two during the day. However, as they say "No Rain - No Rainbows" In my experience, one can always chase the sun by driving around a different part of the island. I highly suggest, grabbing coffee and spending mornings on the sands of Hanalei Bay. Why?.... you'll see! If you are planning to book some activities (luau's, sight seeing boat tours, lessons, etc...) I suggest you ask us for suggestions first. We might know the preferred companies or places for the best deals.
