Your vacation home is set up with years of experience in guest hosting. As mentioned in all of my reviews, the space is extremely clean, and fully equipped so you’ll enjoy returning home after a day of adventure. Sleep in a new memory foam king bed with 6 pillows, high thread count sheets and cotton Tommy Bahama bedding. Sip your morning coffee on a private lanai with a glimpse of the Mamalahoa Mountain Range peaks and surrounding jungle before taking a stroll on the 2 mile path just outside your front door. The sunset view from an ocean front cliff is spectacular, and just a couple of minutes walk down the path. Hale Moi is a condominium complex of both residents and vacationers. *Quiet hours at Hale Moi are observed from 9pm to 8am. Your unit is in the 1st building of the complex on ground level, with a common wall on one side. You may hear sounds of nearby neighbors or from the road, or even from wild chickens during the day. They are most active in the morning so if you are a late sleeper, I recommend ear plugs. *PARKING: Guests may park their vehicles in any of the open spots labeled “permit.” Please note that although there isn’t a designated spot for your unit, parking is easy to find. *BBQ (complex shared picnic area) is conveniently located in the middle of property grounds. No BBQ equipment permitted at your unit. No open fires permitted anywhere on property. *Complimentary guest starter supplies provided in unit: Coffee and filter, paper towels, new dish sponge, dish soap, garbage bags, shampoo/conditioner, body soap, hand soap, and 2 toilet paper rolls. In addition: 2 bath towel sets (body/hand/face) per guest and 2 beach towels, 1 per guest. For your convenience, we also provide a cooler, a beach umbrella and beach chairs, iron & hair dryer. We do not provide snorkel gear due to Covid. Note: We also have another unit right next door in case you have more than 2 in your party and want to stay close-by each other. The property is lined with several small parking lots and paved pathways leading to each building. Open guest parking for your unit is labeled “permit.” You will find a space to park in one of these lots within reasonable distance to your unit. The building: 2 units share double doors and a foyer at the entrance, with private doors to each unit. Note: There are 7 stair steps leading to your front door. Your unit has a private outdoor lanai through the sliding glass doors of the sunroom. A full size closet is available for guest use. I look forward to welcoming you on Kauai! Hale Moi is easy to find on Princeville's main access (Ka Haku Rd), which dead ends at the St. Regis resort. There is a 2 mile paved path all along Ka Haku and is within steps from your front door. From this path, you can walk to Queen's Bath or Hideaway's Beach in minutes without the hassle of finding parking! Princeville Makai'i Golf course with 18 holes is right next door to your unit. Princeville is a beautifully maintained community of private resident and vacation homes and condominiums with the best location for accessing all of the Northshore's attractions while within a 30 mile driving distance from the Airport. Princeville is on Kuhio HWY, about 30 miles north of Lihue Airport between Kilauea and Hanalei. Hale Moi is on Ka Haku Rd in Princeville. At the entrance to Princeville (where the 2 mile path begins), there is a neighborhood park w/playground and restrooms. This is also where the local KAUAI BUS stop is for your public transportation needs. Just across the street, you'll find Princeville Shopping Center, library and gas station for all your necessities. Drive 3 miles north to arrive at the famous HANALEI BAY and dine or shop with dozens of options in Hanalei Town. Kilauea is 4 miles south-east of Princeville where you'll find Kilauea Point Lighthouse & Bird Santuary, more fine dining, a Medical Clinic, Juice bar, full service Healthfood Market and MINI GOLF! I recommend renting a vehicle, but if you choose to hire a ride, local TAXI and UBER or LYFT are available and easy to use. Please note that we have a policy for extra cleanings every week with guest stays lasting longer than 13 nights. For reservations of 14 nights, there will be an additional full service cleaning with a guest paid charge of $110 per clean, including all taxes to be scheduled at the mid-way point of reservation. Or, every week when a reservation is up to 21 nights. For example: If your reservation is up to 13 nights, you'll have 1 cleaning fee of $110. If your reservation is for 14 nights, you'll have 2 cleanings with fees of $110 each. For 21 nights, you'll have 3 cleanings/fees at $110each. Each clean includes a full service unit clean with linen changes and guest supplies restocked. RE: 3rd guest (children only). For use of the daybed futon for sleeping, there will be a $15 additional charge for extra linen laundry, i.e. sheets, blanket and quilt, plus extra bath and beach towels. Please notify your host prior to your arrival if you are traveling with a child so that I can prepare the bed and stock extra towels. These additional linen or cleaning fees will not be automatically added to your initial Airbnb charges. After booking a long stay, the Airbnb resolution center will contact you to arrange payment.
