At the end of your day you can return the peace & tranquility of The Celestial Sanctum. You can park on the property and there are fun adventures within 25 minutes of our location. We recommend renting a car - preferably with high clearance and an SUV or Jeep is best to explore the Island. The closest airport is the Hilo International Airport (ITO) Hawaii charges a 14.962% GET (General Excise Tax) which we will collect when you check in. Our rates are low for the high quality of our Lodge so this will help you absorb this fee. Our Lodge, for safety reasons, is for adults 18 years or older. Please - no pets We are in the country away from the city and the quaint town of Hilo is about 25 minutes away. There you can go to the Farmer's Market, visit the Japanese Gardens, and you can tour the Hawaii Tropical Botanical Gardens. You can even paddle board off Coconut Island.
