ATTN!! Min 45 nts. In addition to Airbnb booking price guest responsible for 17.75% Occupancy Taxes. Host will calc tax & disclose tx amt. Guest must acknowledge and agree to chrg b4 bking is confirmed. Tax pyt will be requested thru the Airbnb system upon check-in. Small standalone Owner's apt nestled at the back of a historic house. Ideal for health care empl or students internships. QMC workers may use nearby "free" shuttle service to hospital so, no need for car or public transit. A "new" construction addition which was part of a whole house renovation. Snuggled at the back of the property. Cozy and cute. The unit is clean and has all the basics. The apartment is "small", appx 350 sf. It is a completely separate unit from the main part of the house. Separate entrance with dedicated facilities (i.e. kitchen, laundry, bath). Ideally comfortable for just a single or a couple. "Two singles" in this unit would be very tight as there is only a full size bed in the space with no room to add other furnishings. A 3rd person would be impossible. A baby or young child (as a 3rd person) would also be difficult. If requesting booking for "two" people prospective guests should disclose relation of occupants expected to stay in the unit (e.g. husband & wife; bf & gf; mother & daughter, etc.) so, I can assess whether the apt would be a good fit. Up to 2 people may stay w/no extra person chrg. Bed is a plush top (soft support) "full" size. Kitchen is fully equipped for light cooking. Kitchen Appliances in addition to full size range and fridge: Coffee maker, microwave, toaster oven, blender, rice cooker, electric hot water pot. This property caters to the "longer" stay visitor: Extended stay vacationers, folks transitioning between homes, on temp work/training assignments, or "just arrived" island residents. No lease / security deposit. Amentities: 1 off-street parking space bed linens and towels full bathroom (w/shower tub, handicap friendly) hairdryer, flat iron, curling iron body wash and shampoo full kitchen with modern appliances "ready to cook" (incl. pots, pans, dishes, silverware) clothes washer & dryer 13: flat screen TVs in sitting area and bedrm WIFI Access to Spectrum App acct to stream local media from your device The apt is my personal living quarters when I am in Honolulu. If your booking request is approved for this apt it means I will not be in town. However, I am still highly interactive with all guest and will communicate with you remotely via messaging, phone and text as needs arise. The neighborhood is very centrally located. Very close to downtown business district and Honolulu Harbor. Oldest neighborhood in Honolulu. Many historical homes and historical sites nearby. You will be living at the edge of a rainforest. Highway access is just a few blocks from the house. All Honolulu locations are quickly accessible by car (no more than 15 min drive). Location of property is very convenient for those working in downtown business district, or at one of the several hospitals in the neighborhood (Queen's, Kuakini, Saint Francis). Easy bus access (and in some cases walking distance). No need for car. Bus stop is just 2 houses away from the property. #13 bus goes directly to Waikiki but, will also get you to all the main areas in Honolulu, i.e. Business District, Ala Moana Ctr, Diamond Head. Bus also easy to West Honolulu areas such as Tripler, Pearl City, Airport... Downtown business district is 10 min by bus. UH Manoa is 45 mon by bus. "The Bus" one-way fare $2.75. Monthly unlimited bus pass available for $60. Airport (HNL) is appx 6.5 miles from property. Appx taxi fare is $27 one way. Perfect for former Kamaainas who are returning to island to visit family/friends. Great for business travelers who work in the downtown business district or central Honolulu locations. Very close to Queen's, Kuakini and St. Francis Hospitals (walk or public transit). I have hosted many medical professionals who find the location and bus access ideal to commute to work without need for a car. Also, Kaiser and Tripler Hospitals are 15 min driving distance. The apt is tiny. Ideally comfortable for 1 person. Max occupancy is strictly limited to 2 people. IMPT: Only guests who are pre-screened and approved by the Host are allowed to occupy the unit/be on the property. Generally, requests for additional guests not disclosed when making the initial booking inquiry (full or partial stay) will not be approved AFTER a booking is confirmed and may be subject to additional charges. Requests to switch rooms (i.e. from apt to main house) AFTER check-in, if approved, will be charged $150 accommodation fee, plus $150 cleaning fee in addition to price differential between the rooms. New pricing will be based on current market nightly rate for new the room, plus fees. Professional move-out cleaning is done for ALL bookings to assure apt is impeccably clean for the next guest.
