My home offers a serene environment with spectacular views of the north and southwest shorelines, the West Maui mountains, and beautiful valley below. This is a perfect location to plan your day trips all over the island and such a peaceful, relaxing place to come home after your activities. The house is fully furnished with 2 bedrooms each with a queen sized bed, gourmet kitchen, TV, Bose stereo, wireless internet, rain shower, washer and drier, outdoor dining area - all the comforts of home. Not only will the entire home be at your disposal but you'll be able to wander the grounds to admire the citrus, plum, and avocado orchards as well as dragon fruit, bananas, coffee trees, fresh herbs, and a project of reintroducing native Hawaiian plants. You are welcome to use whatever is in season and ripe for your enjoyment. I live in the Main House on the same property and will be happy to offer any advice you need while staying at Halekalani Cottage. Kula is mostly an agricultural district growing much of the produce sold on Maui. The elevation makes for much more pleasant evenings than the warmer coast regions. Also in contrast to the busy tourist areas, our neighborhood runs at a much slower pace with less congestion and noise. Our neighborhood is very quiet and rural. Please respect this during your stay. Become a "local" and simply blend into the peaceful surroundings.
