Ardele lives on the property and she is available to help any time. While only 15 minutes into town, this is located amid forest land and feels so remote and quiet. The elevation is at 1600 ft, which means you are out of the sweaty heat of Kona and are met with constant cool breezes. There really is't much public transportation on the Big Island. Guests should get a rental car to visit various places.
