The vaulted ceiling opens up into a spacious loft with 2 twin beds and separate bath. There is also a small attic bedroom with a queen bed in the rear loft extension. The attic bedroom has a sloped roof and fits only a bed and dresser, but offers a private space with its own door (perfect for your teen or small children who need their own space). This condo sleeps up to 6 guests. WELL-APPOINTED AND FAMILY-FRIENDLY! Our condo has a window air conditioner in the living area and fans in all three bedrooms. The main living areas have lovely tile floors. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge, range, dishwasher, microwave, cookware, blender, coffeemaker, dishes & utensils. There is also a washer & dryer in-suite. The dining area seats 6. The living room includes an entertainment center with TV, VCR & DVD player. You'll enjoy 5G WiFi (up to 200 Mbps) during your stay. Lori, our on-site manager, lives in the Maui Vista complex and is available to assist with any issues that may arise during your stay. Kihei is right on the beach and down-to-earth. Tourists and locals pass on the street all the time and everyone tends to be super-friendly. Bicycles or mopeds can be rented within a mile of the condo and are fantastic for exploring (or for giving your teenagers a bit of independence during your stay!). Surfing lessons and board rentals, as well as kiteboarding, are right down the street. No need to eat out every day with our well-appointed kitchen and on-site gas BBQ grills available. Baby equipment can be rented nearby - google "baby equipment rental kihei" for several options. Pack a picnic, grab some beach towels from the closet, and head down to the beach for a picnic and maybe catch the sunset! Rental Cars: Most of the major car rental companies are located at the Kahului airport in Maui. For a more affordable option look for a rental agency located offsite from the airport (i.e. No Ka Oi Motors). Most provide free pickup and delivery at the airport. Note: In either case, when picking up a map, tell the car rental company that you want directions to Wailea (Kihei will be on that route). Public Transit: Maui Public Bus Transit System provides 13 bus routes around the island seven days a week, including all holidays. The fare is $2.00 per boarding. The Upcountry and Haiku Islander routes stop at the Kahului Airport. From there, a transfer to the Kihei Islander will bring you to Kamaole Beach. One piece of luggage is allowed per person and must fit under the passenger seat or on lap.
