The Shores at Waikoloa Beach Resort is the ideal location. Walking distance to the beach, golf courses, shops, the Marriott & Hilton hotels. It’s just 20 miles north of Kona International Airport. The Shores is truly a tropical paradise with waterfalls & lagoons. The air conditioned condo is on the ground floor and is a 2 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath that can sleep 1-4 people. There is also a “PAC AND PLAY” for a little one. The master bedroom has a Cal king bed with en suite bathroom. There are two single beds in the second bedroom. The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave and a dishwasher. There’s a washer & dryer adjacent to the kitchen. The living room has a 3 seater couch that can sleep a SMALL CHILD. Enjoy breakfast and a cup of Kona Coffee out on the private Lanai. Beach towels, cooler, masks & snorkels, beach chairs, boogie boards and an umbrella are provided for that beach excursion. We are happy to supply paper towels, salt & pepper, shampoo, body wash, and plenty of TP. The only wall shared with your neighbors is the kitchen. Needless to say, the unit is very quiet. This a Non Smoking unit. Guests have access to free parking, free unlimited high speed wireless internet and basic cable TV. The swimming pool and jacuzzi is conveniently located around the back of the building among the tropical gardens and lagoon. The gym and tennis courts are right next to the condo. Ana'eho'omalu Bay or A-Bay, is a white sandy beach and great for sunsets with access to the beach through the Marriott hotel. World famous white sand beaches are only a 15 minute drive north of the condo. Mauna Lani is a 5 minute drive north. Walk along the beach to the little bay to the south. The Fairmont Orchid around to the north also has a bay. See the petroglyphs at the county park. Visit Hapuna beach and Mauna Kea. Only a 10-15 minute drive north. Plan on spending a day at each one. Do some exploring at local markets and historical sights downtown Kailua-Kona. A 30 minute drive south for easy access for shopping, waterfront restaurants and hotels. (Park at the Coconut market place off Kuakini.) Watch the people and the cruise ships come and go from the Kailua Pier at the north end of Alii Dr. Visit the famous Farmer's Market. Enjoy a shave ice or a cup of Kona coffee, have a light snack or a gourmet meal, buy an inexpensive souvenir or a piece of fine art, book an activity, go for a swim or hang out on the many beautiful beaches. Just a 5 mile drive south of Kailua Kona town on Ali'i Drive you will find Kahalu’u Beach State Park, famous for its encounters with the graceful green Hawaiian sea turtles and many colorful ocean fish. The Shores at Waikoloa Beach Resort is conveniently located, a great home base to explore the many wonders of the Big Island including Volcano National Park, Mauna Kea Observatory via Saddle Road, coffee & nuts at the Hamakua macadamia nut factory in Kawaihae, artist communities near Hawi and more! You are best to rent a car to see all the island has to offer. Uber, Lyft and Taxis are also available.
