Mahalo!** In this Ohana–style unit perfectly located in beautiful Kailua, you will have your own private space (unit shares one wall with our family home) that is fully-equipped to make your Hawaiian vacation a dream come true! This beautiful unit has its own separate entrance and includes 2 bedrooms (one queen, one full-size bed), air conditioning units in both bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, a fully-equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, private outside seating area with a hammock, and ample parking. Linens, blankets, towels and other amenities provided, as well as a large TV and free WiFi. This unit is located in a very quiet, very safe neighborhood less than two and a half miles away from gorgeous Kailua Beach and is within walking distance to various grocery stores, shopping, restaurants, and the bus route. Guests have access to their own living quarters separate from the main house. This guest space includes a kitchen, living room, two bedrooms, two full bathrooms and an outdoor patio area. Please note: unit shares one wall with our family home. I will most likely be at the house to check guests in, give a tour of the space and answer any questions. I can also be reached via phone, e-mail, or Airbnb message if needed, or in person if I’m home at the time. The neighborhood is a quiet, charming subdivision of Kailua. You have easy access to Kailua Beach, Kailua Town, and other major highways to travel around Oahu on a sightseeing adventure. Traveling by car is the easiest way to get around Oahu. There are also near-by bus routes. Our property has ample parking. HOUSE RULES Check-In Time: 3:00 pm / Flexible Check-Out Time: 11:00 am / Flexible Absolutely no smoking or candles. No pets. No parties or events. Please do not wear shoes in the house. Local-style custom is to remove your shoes at the front door. Please do not leave lights, fans, TV, stove/oven, washer/dryer or a/c units, or any other electronics on and/or running when you are not home. Please be aware that this is a very quiet neighborhood and noise should be kept to a minimum. Most people in the vicinity expect moderate noise after about 7:00 p.m. and little to no noise from 9:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Air Conditioning – Please only use the a/c units when you are present with doors closed. Beach Towels – There are bright-colored beach towels in the guest bathroom closet for you to use during your stay. Please ONLY use these towels for the beach; do not take any of the bath towels out of the house. Internet - WiFi username and password will be given upon check in. Parking – There is ample parking in the front yard. Television – The TV is basic cable enabled. Washer & Dryer – These are located in the enclosed patio area. Please uncover to use and then recover when not in use. Cancel up to 7 days before check in and get a 50% refund (minus service fees). Cancel within 7 days of your trip and the reservation is non-refundable. Service fees are refunded when cancellation happens before check in and within 48 hours of booking. Mahalo!
