Villa Maui, has over two thousand sq ft interior space, featuring 2 massive bedrooms (one with a king size bed, and one with a queen size bed), one large bathroom with separate shower and free standing tub, full kitchen with 5 burner gas range and over-sized fridge and freezer, large living room, covered outdoor deck, an expansive loft area - perfect for yoga or stretching with 2 sofas, 40” internet TV with complimentary WIFI, washer and dryer. Our guests rave about how you will not find a more modern, cleaner or comfortable house on the North Shore of Maui. Only you have access to the entire house, including your own washer and dryer, outdoor deck and almost an acre of lawn to play. You are also welcome to come and check our chickens and if you fancy some of their organic eggs, just let me know ;). I now extend that same hospitality to you here in Villa Maui. Living right on the property, we welcome you to our home and will be happy to offer any advice you might need during your stay here. Villa Maui is a family friendly home in a quiet neighborhood of Haiku - our guests review stress how they were able to enjoy a peaceful and relaxing stay here like nowhere else on the island. Our nearby little towns (Paia, Haiku and Makawao) are steeped in old charm and one of our guests favorite past time is to walk to the nearby bakery and enjoy their delicious fresh baked goods while chatting with the locals. There are two self-contained units adjacent to your home so they might be some transfer noise from their staircase. Besides that, you are surrounded by almost an acre of lawn and coconut trees so pretty quiet and blissful. Centrally located in Haiku, it is a short 5 minute walk to the Pauwela Cannery, home to the delicious "Baked on Maui" cafe, many famous surfboard shapers and the headquarters of Goya windsurfing. A few minutes drive brings you to Haiku "town" center, with several great restaurants and food trucks, a post office and a well-appointed grocery store. Drive 10 minutes along the coast and you will arrive at Ho'okipa Beach park (where you can watch - or ride - some of the biggest waves on the island), and the the old plantation town of Paia. Or you can head upcountry to the more relaxed paniolo (cowboy) town of Makawao. The home itself really makes you switch on to "Maui time". From the moment you enter the great room, you feel lighter from having all the space that a 22 foot high open beam ceiling affords. The kitchen island is the main meeting place of the home, perfect for breakfast or lunch, while the outside lanai, or covered deck, is great for dinner or just relaxing. By day it offers shade and a view of the ocean, while at night, enjoy spotlit palm trees and not a sound as you wind down after another day of Maui-style activities. The second level of the house is a large open plan room. At one side is located an internet-enabled TV, hooked up to Netflix with 2 sofas.
