Rates include taxes of 17.96% . This property may not be rented for less than 30 consecutive days. Rental prices will not be reduced or adjusted based on the number of days the rental is actually used or occupied. The Historic Gingerbread House is a secure and gated residence directly across the street from Kahala beach. The neighborhood is between Diamond Head, the Kahala Hotel and the Waialae Country Club where the world renowned Sony Open is held. Our professional kitchen boasts top of the line appliances, television, separate ice maker, bar seating and is perfect for family cooking. The formal dining room is just off the kitchen and seats eight. Cathedral ceilings in the living room provide a feeling of space with a wide expanse of french doors that open into the private backyard with salt water pool, jacuzzi, two outdoor dining tables, BBQ, poolside cabana, lounges and pool seating. All rooms are air-conditioned with individual climate controls and all four bedrooms have their own televisions. The upstairs master suite has a queen-size bed, private bath with views of Diamond Head and a large walk in closet. The Garden Suite is on the ground floor with french doors that open to the backyard and hosts it's own private entries, separate bath, queen bed and a queen sofa bed. Another queen size bedroom has its own outdoor lanai that looks into the backyard and another bedroom has vaulted ceilings and a king size bed. We're far enough from the crowded beaches of Waikiki to welcome serenity, yet Waikiki and many other island attractions are only minutes away. Upon your arrival you'll find a selection of island fruits, treats, beverages and several bottles of wine for your enjoyment. A perfect family vacation is yours at The Historic Gingerbread House and we look forward to welcoming you with our own brand of Hawaiian hospitality. Hawaii General Excise Tax ID GE-019-756-4416-01 Hawaii Transient Accommodation Tax ID TA-019-756-4416-01 You will be greeted at the house by either myself or my manager where you will be introduced to our luxurious pool, cabana, hot tub, outdoor lanai with dining tables, lounge chairs and sofas, outdoor gas grill & refrigerator. Use of the swimming pool and hot tub are solely at the risk of guests. We have a professional kitchen with european appliances. The beach is directly across the street, as is a bus stop, The Kahala Hotel is less than a mile further down the street as is the Waialae County Club (members only). Kahala Shopping Center with many shops, Whole Foods, a local supermarket and several restaurants are also located close by. We are in a quiet neighborhood and guests must respect our neighbors. Quiet hours are between 10pm to 9am the following morning. Infractions of violating the quiet hours can result in calls to the local police and can result in eviction. Kāhala, is an affluent neighborhood of Honolulu, Hawaii and is famous in the Hawai'ian islands for its exclusive real estate and beachfront properties. The southern shores of Oahu are tranquil and quiet compared to neighboring Waikiki. There is a public access to the beach directly across the street. You will find The Historic Gingerbread House to be comfortable and relaxed and yet close to shopping and dining. Bus stop just across the street, taxi, limo, Uber or park your vehicle in secured property. Additional street parking also available. Kahala Shopping Center is a mile away and many other local attractions like Waikiki, Hanauma Bay, Sea Life Park are minutes away. Transient Accomodation Taxes and General Excise Taxes total of 17.96% We always like to welcome you with something to make your stay more enjoyable with Island Coffee, tea, local breads, sweets & other delicacies, wine and cheese.
