Whaler #956 is a Premium ocean view one-bedroom, one-bath condo located in Tower 2 on the 9th floor, and is beautifully remodeled throughout. Gourmet kitchen with elegant granite counters, a spacious and comfortable living room and dining area for a family of four, comfy sofa converts to a Queen sleeper, King bed in the master bedroom with remodeled bathroom. The views from this unit are absolutely incredible! All units feature full kitchens, full baths, central air conditioning, and a large private lanai (balcony). Free WiFi. Located right on the famous Kaanapali Beach nestled between Whalers Village and Black Rock. Imagine walking right out of your resort to some of the best restaurants on the island. Only a short walk from Black Rock where you can snorkel and swim with the giant Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles and Maui's colorful fish. Board the Teralani or Gemini Charters right off the beach to go for a day of sailing and special snorkel spots like Honolua Bay Marine Reserve. Enjoy dining and music at Leilani's and Hula Grill. It just doesn't get much better than this! NOTICE: Tower Two is currently undergoing a spalling project thru April 24th. Please note there will be scaffolding present in various sections around Tower Two. This unit #956 is already completed. Work schedule is 8am to 4pm Monday thru Fridays, any may include weekends. Starting on January 1, 2024 the daily Resort Fee will be $31/day plus tax and is payable when you check in at the front desk, which covers parking and resort amenities. On April 1, 2024 the fee will increase $33/day and on April 1, 2025 it will increase to $35/day. You will be within walking distance to shopping, restaurants, daytime activities and excursions, including two golf courses. From Whalers Village you can take a bus to Lahaina every hour. Only steps away from great snorkeling, stand-up paddling, surfing, swimming and taking pictures of Hawaii's giant green Sea Turtles that favor Black Rock. Come enjoy Maui's favorite ocean front resort! Rental cars are recommended to see Maui's sites but if you are staying on the West side we do have shuttles, taxis, bike and moped rentals, and the Maui Bus pickup and drop off is at the front entrance of the Whalers Village Mall, which is right next to The Whaler resort. For more information, routes, and schedules, please visit the County of Maui website for the Maui Public Bus Transit System. **TRAVELING IS FULL OF UNCERTAINTY. WE HIGHLY SUGGEST PURCHASING TRAVEL INSURANCE TO PROTECT YOUR VACATION INVESTMENT** A NON-SMOKING RESORT in accordance with Hawaii`s "Smoke Free" law. This includes all interiors, exteriors, and common areas. There is a designated smoking area located by the parking lot. Although this is a privately owned condo, check-in and check-out must be done at the front desk of the The Whaler's main lobby. The Whaler Homeowners Assoc charges a separate $31/day plus tax resort fee (which covers parking and resort amenities), that is payable directly to the Front Desk upon check-in. Parking is both outside and underground. Fresh linens, bath towels and wash cloths are provided, as well as kitchen items: drip style coffee maker, toaster, blender, pots/pans, cooking utensils, dishes, flatware and dish towels. In addition, our home is equipped with a complimentary "Starter Kit" of supplies upon your arrival: Paper towels, garbage bags, dish detergent, dishwasher detergent, new kitchen sponge with scrubber; several rolls of toilet tissue, kleenex, hotel-size bar soap, shampoo, and lotion. *Starter kit items are not replenished.* Daily or mid-stay cleaning can be added for an additional fee, as maid service is NOT included. PLEASE NOTE: Our minimum night stay is 5 nights and 10 nights during the Christmas and New Years Holiday. However shorter stays may be available if they back up to an already confirmed reservation.
