The condo has a fully functional kitchen with granite counter tops and stainless steal appliances. You will also find the kitchen well stocked with cookware, dishes and utensils to make cooking away from home a breeze. The condo can sleep up to 4 guests. The sleeping arrangements include a king size bed and a queen size sofa sleeper. The living room area provides seating for up to 4 guests, a 55 in flat screen smart tv, along with a dining room table if you prefer to have your meals indoor. The master bedroom provides plenty of space for your belongings, along with a 40 inch TV. Other features include a SPLIT AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM with 2 air handlers for your comfort (living room and bedroom), along with multiple ceiling fans, free WiFi and basic cable . You will also find misc beach gear such as beach chairs, beach towels, boogie boards and coolers for your day trips to the beach! ABOUT THE RESORT: Papakea Resort is a four story, oceanfront, condominium complex and is situated on 12 tropical acres with palm trees, bamboo, freshwater Koi ponds, fragrant tropical flowers and Tiki Torches illuminating the walkways during the evenings. In addition to the beautiful grounds, Papakea provides the use of 2 swimming pools (Lanai pool is heated), 2 large Jacuzzi's, multiple gas BBQ's located by the pool areas, 2 meticulously groomed putting greens, 2 shuffleboard courts and 3 lighted tennis courts! There is a friendly on-site concierge located in the lobby who can arrange island activities such as luaus, whale watching tours in season, sailing, snorkeling trips, golf, biking down the volcano, and more. Papakea does charge a daily resort fee of $17.00 for your first 10 days, per every 30 day period. There is no additional parking fee, unless you have more than one rental car. LOCATION: 45 minutes from the Kahului airport or 7 minutes from the Kapalua airport. This property is located between Ka'anapali and Kapalua and is just a 10 minute drive to Lahaina Town where there are local shops, many restaurants', and the factory outlets! If you would like to stick closer to home, you can walk or take a quick drive to Whalers Shopping Village in Kaanapali. Your are also within walking distance to the grocery store, the popular Farmers Market, Fish Market, and much more! We look forward to have you as our guest! We provide our guests with space, but if you have a questions or concern just give us a call for assistance. You are within walking distance to many restaurants and the grocery store. Papakea is centrally located in West Maui and you are surrounded by all that the West side has to offer, from world class golf, surfing, snorkeling and paddle boarding. Upon checking in the resort a concierge can assist and book all your activities while on Maui. We always recommend having a rental car so that you can explore all of Maui! But, it is not necessary. If you prefer, there is a Maui Bus system with a bus stop just a block away from the resort. The island also has Taxi's and Uber if you prefer. Papakea Resort charges a daily resort fee of $17.00, which is paid directly to the resort upon your arrival. For stays longer than 10 days, the fee is only applied towards the first 10 days per every 30 day stay. The resort fee covers parking for one vehicle. You can have a second vehicle for an additional daily fee of $5.00.
