You are ideally situated for your trip to Hana and Haleakala Crater, you will save about 2 hours of driving time compared to Kihei or Kaanapali. Ho'okipa Beach has surfing, wind surfing and swiming with turtles, it is 2 minutes away. Paia Bay, Baldwin beach and Baby Beach are all excellent locations to swim, surf and hang out with the locals. We live close by and will be available for help and advise. The North Shore of Maui is quite different from the south and west shores where all the resorts are. Paia is a town where you will find celebrities doing their shopping alongside local residents. The location here is ideal for your 2 must do tours: Hana and Haleakala. You will cut 2 hours off your driving time. The bus stop is one block away, it will take you to Kahului and from there to Kihei or Lahaina. At the Kuau Store, one block away, you can buy food to go and a few groceries. Apartment is on the 3rd. floor. No elevator. Not suitable for wheelchairs. Assigned parking (307) is free.
