This side of the island has pristine and non-crowded beaches. The area definitely has a country farm feel with local Hawaiians. You can read my reviews where guests have loved my hospitality and recommendations. Plus my place is ocean front with always nice views of the water. The space is a very nice 1 bedroom completely refurbished with ocean views. If you are expecting a hotel room, then Waikiki is best for you. However, if you want to live in with the locals and visit beautiful beaches with relatively few people, then stay in Makaha. .2K mbs high speed wifi and cable TV.
